Brighton Marina Village

Seems to have been designed with classic minis in mind rather than modern cars, small bays and very tight turns to go between levels. The biggest problem however is the 4 hour limit. I know it's free but there is no other parking near by for the marina as the Asda one is for customers only. If you want to go watch a film and eat a meal is almost impossible if your film is longer than 2 hours.

I stopped using marina restaurants or shops after car parks 4 hours limits was introduced. This do not help businesses as we usually go in groups of 8 to 10 people.

Horrible, the security harrased me. They said they'd had a complaint about someone being aggressive. I asked them if I looked aggressive, they went quiet, but stayed with me for 15 minutes. They asked all sorts of intrusive questions, then gave me a ticket when i refused to answer them. They took pictures of the inside of my car, and of me, I don't really think that's appropriate! Disgusting people. Disgusting car park, don't waste your time there

Tight spaces and ramps but did OK in my mpv. 4 hours free, if you need more move it to adsa, 3 hours there free. Can't complain at all. Great day out.

Don't really understand all the comments about maximum time and cost. This is a free carpark. And while there are people complaining about right turns a small spaces, it's fine if you know how to drive. Never had a problem in our Vauxhall Zafira which is hardly small. Spaces on the top floor are bigger too - although I do admit there is always a powerful urine smell on the stairs.

Smelly and Four hours not enough with no option to extend

It's free but has ridiculously small bays and tight ramps, aviod this car park unless you have a tiny car like a 2 seater Smart ro something like that.

Spaces too tight for all but the smallest cars, urine stench is all over, innacurate parking times displayed.... only positive is it’s free - personally I would rather pay and be able to park without car getting dented.... happened 3 times now.

Great facility, however needs max stay time either extended or option to pay for extended parking time - We'd spend more time and money here if we could!!!

Unusable - even when free - as I can’t take the family to the cinema and then to dinner. I’d like the option to pay for extended time. 4 hours is too restrictive.

4 hours is not enough to eat and go to cinema, so someone has to lose a customer. Many people have put the same message on, but it seems to fall on deaf ears. WAKE UP BRIGHTON!

Parked and went fishing.Started catching fish and wanted to stay longer but did not know if I would get a fine for over staying.Not sure if a camera takes your car details in snd out time.

The introduction of max 4hrs means you can no longer go watch a film then eat. Or shop and eat. Completely pointless will go somewhere else from now on.

Great free car park

The car park is great for the cinema or to have a meal but you can’t combine both which is a shame unless you move the car and buy something in Asda. Please extend it to 5 hours or even give us the option to pay for extra time.

We wanted to see a film and have something to eat but had to pick between because the film was 2hrs15 mins long so no time for din dins.

A strong stench will greet you upon entering the Brighton Marina Village car park, on the waterfront and a short walk to brighton pier makes this a prime parking location, and who can say no to free 4 hour parking?! The aesythetics of the car park left something to be desired, however the clarity of parking bay markings all but made up for it! The main factor leading to the car park narrowly missing the coveted perfect 5 was the somewhat undesirable smell in the stairwells. I would recommend this car park to all other parking officionados, however be warned, finding the exit nearly 'drove' me up the wall!

Smells like a public toilet. Has an abandoned car in it but what do you expect for free. Security walking round though.

It's rather a bleak area but at the marina there's a McDonald, Pizza express and many places to eat. quite a walk back to Brighton but in the summer there's an electric train along the sea front which kids will enjoy. Best thing is lots of parking spaces and it's free for 4 hours.

It's a fair walk if you want to get back to Brighton but in the summer there's an electric train that's fun for kids. the area's a bit bleak but there's a McDonalds etc nearby. close to Asda. Free for 4 hours which is good.
