Only 1 star and that is for the nice gentleman in the office who saw I had a validated ticket and was a patient. The lady at the payment window is very ignorant and should not assume people are employees when they tell her they are a patient with a validated ticket. I had an office procedure and was taken care of well at Pennsylvania hospital but she ruined everything else. Should not be in customer service if not happy.

Charge me 3 more dollars because I got to the window to pay 8mins later..I have to walk to the car and drive out and I'm handicap..they don't care, will not be parking here again

This place is a scam. It doesn’t inform you that there is a time limit to reach your car and exit. For 7 hrs it was $16 and 24 hrs is $16. It took me 16 minutes and they charged me an additional $4 to leave. They couldn’t explain the system. So going to my car to get money and waiting for other customers to pay. At this point they tell me I am at 22 minutes. If the person taking the payment was not told by another employee they would have tried to charge me more. This is ridiculous.

Parking In Philadelphia

Philadelphia is a large, densely populated city, as well as a historical and cultural landmark, attracting large amounts of tourists every year. As such, finding parking in Philadelphia can sometimes be tough. Here you will find several useful tips to help you out.

On-street metered parking costs $2/hour. Philadelphia meters accept coins and SmartCards as payment. The Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) has been installing meter kiosks throughout the city. These kiosks accept coins, bills, credit cards and SmartCards. However, if you’re planning on parking for the whole day, we recommend that you park in a garage, since this would probably be a cheaper option.

Off-street parking rates can range from $10-20/hour and from $20-$50/24 hours, though there are also locations with lower or higher rates.

Our detailed maps help you find parking around some of the most popular parking locations, including:

The Convention Center;

PreFlight Airport Parking;

The Philadelphia Museum of Art.

For airport parking motorists are able to park in a special economy lot for a mere $11 per 24 hours.

Be sure to visit the PPA website for any questions about paying a parking ticket or disputing a violation.
