Parking at Indianapolis International Airport

Two types of Express Valet service, located on Level 3 of the Parking Garage, provide maximum convenience for those who want a quick, easy parking experience. Those who prefer to self-park may choose the Parking Garage, Economy Parking, or Long-Term Parking areas, each of which contain ample spaces designated for those physical challenges.

Short-term and long-term airport parking options

Visitors who will only be spending a few minutes inside the terminal—and passengers who will be traveling on an extended vacation or business trip—have a number of parking options from which to choose.

Those who need short-term parking may wish to choose the Parking Garage, which is directly connected to the terminal via an enclosed Pedestrian Bridge on Level 3.

Passengers who need long-term parking may choose to park in the garage or one of two surface parking lots (Long-Term Parking and Economy Parking). Shuttle bus service from the surface parking lots to the terminal is complimentary. Board shuttles at the numbered shelter nearest to your parking location. There is no maximum or minimum stay required for parking in any area.

Remember where you park! Whether you choose the garage or a surface lot, please make note of your row and section number to locate your vehicle quickly upon your return. If you park in a surface lot, also make note of your shuttle shelter number (i.e., Shelter 1, Shelter 2, etc.)

Cell Phone Lot

Drivers who are waiting for passengers to land should park in the free Cell Phone Lot, which features 49 spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once passengers have claimed their bags, they can call your cell phone and you can pull to the curb on the lower-level drive, load luggage and carry-on items in your car, then exit the airport. Follow the blue roadway signs directing you to the Cell Phone Lot after exiting Interstate 70. Turn toward the right (off of Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Dr.) and turn left at the stop sign. The Cell Phone Lot will be on your right.

The Ground Transportation Center offers free service for jump starts, help with lost vehicle, and inflating lower tires. Call 317.225.3650. The airport has contracted Indiana's Finest Wrecker Service (7576 West Washington Street, Indianapolis | 317.243.6553) for lock-outs and tows. Fees vary depending upon service required.
