Parking in Wichita

Wichita is known as the Air Capital of the World, for its close association with aircraft production. It’s also a major economic and cultural hub, which is why it’s not unimaginable that finding parking here can be quite difficult. We’re here to provide you with some tips on how to find a parking spot quickly and easily!.

There are around 2100 parking meters in the Downtown areaand they are enforced 8AM-5PM, Mon-Fri. However, meters located near the Library and Century II are enforced 7 days a week until 11PM. Meters accept coins and/or cards.

The average off-street rate for parking is $2.50/1 hour and $7/24 hours. The average monthly price is about $40.
