I beg you never park your car here. I was a monthly parker for awhile. I can't begin to list all of the problems I had with these guys. Their workers sleep in your car at night (and leave their footprints on your passenger side dashboard). They bang your car up and then insist it happened somewhere else. They steal things from your car. They lose your checks and don't want to let you take your car until you replace it (my bad for not stopping payment quickly enough on the first check. Tons of bad energy here. Please don't park here.

Do NOT park here. I repeat. DO.NOT.PARK.HERE! These scam artists will do ALL or some combination of the following: 1. Upcharge you on prepaid parking. I was upcharged for a Chevy Equinox) 2. Act indignant if you pick your car up EARLIER than the maximum amount of time permitted. 3. Bury your car in some rigged system which is maximized to insure destruction of nearby vehicles. I can only hope the lot is bought and turned into a high rise.

These guys banged the heck out of my car and denied responsibility - the damage was obvious and I saw it immediately when they brought the car up. Lots of run around. I would not park my car here again.

Parking in New York

New York is one of the busiest and most densely populated cities in the US. Parking rates in NYC are one of the highest in the country. Here are some ideas on how to survive when looking for a place to park in New York.

Commercial garages in Manhattan charge $12-$18 per hour and can go up as high as $55 per 24 hours (SUVs and oversized vehicles are charged additional fees). It’s a good idea to look for early bird and overnight specials or coupons for discounted parking!

A good alternative is to park in the suburbs and then take public transport to downtown:

On-street parking

On-street parking in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island is $1 per hour, while on-street meters in Manhattan charge from $1.50 to $6 per hour, depending on the area. Meters take quarters and credit cards.

On-street rates in PARK-Smart areas will vary depending on the time of day and demand.

On-street signage can be confusing. Check the NYC parking regulations, so that you don’t get a pricey ticket.
