Garage has all the potential in the world being in the epicenter of what's happening in Detroit. Miss management, poor lighting, leaking pipes, security on hand but useless, no fire preventive system (pipes are there but don't work), and lack of signage make this garage one of the worst in town. City owned and managed; every stairwell has human urine in puddles and feces on the ground. The garage is underground, every time it rains puddles form in large areas that can be over 3" deep. I've seen personally multiple heroin overdoses in between vehicles during open hours of operation with "security" just feet away doing nothing. After any event the wait to exit can be well over an hour even though they do special event parking rates they charge at the end, not the beginning; so be ready to wait for everyone to get there credit and cash out at the rarely working terminals. Avoid at all costs until management figures a way to make this a parking garage and not a bathroom.
