Parking in Salt Lake City

There are over 32,400 parking spaces and 2,000 metered parking stalls in the Downtown Salt Lake City area. Metered parking is available on street. Parking meters are enforced from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Metered on street parking is free for two hours on Saturday and all day Sunday and holidays.

Salt Lake City features Downtown Token Program. When you shop at participating downtown businesses, they'll reward you with a Downtown Token, which can be used just like cash at any parking meter, participating parking lot or good for a one way UTA bus fare. Downtown Tokens offer:

1. Up to one hour of time at any SLC parking meter;
2. $1 off parking fare at participating lots/garages (multiple tokens may be used).

Parking lots are also available throughout the city.
