Parking in Las Vegas

Also known as the Sin City, Las Vegas is the heart of the world’s gambling and casino activity. It’s also one of the most popular tourist attractions  and one of the leading destinations for various conventions. Naturally, parking in this man-made wonder can be an issue. Here are some tips to help you out.

Las Vegas is split into two different areas - Downtown and the Strip.

Most of parking in the downtown area is paid. Depending on the location, on-street parking is enforced 8AM-5PM, even though there are areas where meters are enforced until 6PM or even 8PM. Street parking is limited to 2 or 4 hours and costs $1 per hour. Off-street parking costs around $2.50 per hour and $17 for 24 hours.

The Strip, however, is a different story. All of the casinos provide large parking garages with a huge number of free parking spaces, all designed to attract a large number of potential gamblers. You should have little trouble finding free and available parking on the Strip. The only exception to this might be when there are large conventions or events taking place when certain hotels start charging for parking, particularly around the Convention Center.

Our parking maps can help you find parking at your final destination, whether it’s the Convention Center, the Flamingo Las Vegas or the Cosmopolitan.

For questions about paying a ticket, be sure to visit the city’s official website.

Don't forget to park (and gamble!) responsibly.
