Car broken into sometime during weekend in this car park. Even though I'm a season ticket holder no-one bothered to call me about the incident, so car was left for days with a smashed up back window. When I went to use the car found a handwritten note on my windscreen with a crime reference number; no details on an NCP contact or any incident dates/details.Turns out no-one regularly checks this car park and there's no internal CCTV. Police are aware that it's risky to park there. Avoid if at all possible.

Arrived in the dark , no signage lit up , shutters down and appeared to be shut . Poor information online not making it clear APNR will open the shutters therefore we parked elsewhere and had to pay again

not local and needed for MMU applicant day, this car park directly opposite so ideal. Slightly cheaper than some NCP parks (Sheffield shame on you!) but still typically pricey. Have to say though probably the cleanest non retail multi storey I've ever been in, well done!

Parking in Manchester

Off-street (Commercial Car Parks)

Manchester City Council has a joint venture with NCP Car Parks for off-street parking (i.e. commercial car parks) and encourages visitors to use an NCP car park during their stay.

The following car parks usually fill up before 11am:

- King Street West
- Exchange
- M&S
- Market Place

The following car parks usually have space available:

- Arndale and Printworks (over 2200 space combined)
- Grand Hotel (5 mins walk to Piccadilly)

Three free Metroshuttle buses go past most of the car parks and around the city regularly so you can leave the car in the cheapest car park in the city centre for a long stay and don't need to move the car, although this does mean using public transport. Route map on the TfGM website.

On Street (Pay & Display)

On street parking (i.e. pay and display) in Manchester city centre is divided into hourly zones: one hour, two hour and three hour zones.

Further information can be found by clicking on the coloured zones on the map or by visiting Manchester County Council website.
