If you wanna pay for a fine, there is the perfect place! Don't park your car there NEVER!

Dec 7, 2016

Rarely any spaces available, expensive and too many pillars in already tightly compact spaces. Won't be using again.

Avoid absolutely! I parked my car Saturday night and just when I came back to pay the parking I found out that the parking was a "pay and display" parking and not a "pay on return". The only sign was close to the only payment machine hidden in the corner. I was 100% sure that I would have had to pay on return because after the scan plate at the barrier there was no sign mentioning "pay and display" and I walked away. When I come back I was fined by 100£.

What a scam, this is a pay and display car park despite the only sign saying so being behind a concrete support. They are just trying to thieve £100 from innocent motorists that had no intention of not paying. They put a barrier on the door to trick you into thinking it is not a pay and display car park so they can fine you. Daylight robbery.

Absolutely rubbish. Overpriced for the parking and a real hassle. I do not recommend this.

Fined £100. Probably my own fault TBF. Thought that the traffic lights at the entry meant they got your number plate and you paid on exit. Never had any intention of not paying. Interesting note on the signs saying it is an offence to use a mobile phone in the car park then offering pay by mobile. Wont be going to Oxford again. Ever.

This car park is terrible, I was 5 mins late trying to find my car and by the time i found it the attendant was writing me a ticket....he continued to give me a ticket and said 'you can aford it with a car like that'....so rude.....AND I drive a 6 year old b-class with dints and scratches....hardly a luxury sports car NEVER PARK HERE OXFORD - PLEASE COULD YOU GIVE YOUR ATTENDANTS CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING

Without doubt the worst I have ever encountered. After dropping off my disabled husband at the top of the entrance tunnel I proceeded to park in a free bay. Went to the pay machine and put in the details and the money (£10 note) pressed for ticket and nothing happened. Tried several times and still nothing and no return of money. Telephoned emergency line who fixed for me to be there 4 hours. On return had a fine for £100. for non payment of parking charge. The warden was wandering around whilst I was taking a heavy wheelchair out of the boot. Be warned he waited until I had struggled up the ramp to my now frantic husband (all this took 40 minutes) and then he placed a parking fine on the windscreen. I hate Oxford!!!

i parked for 2 hours on a saturday never parked there before i went to machine and paid 5.20 got back too car and found i had been booked as i had paid weekly charge surely machine should be pre programmed to give out right pay tarrif we were in a rush as was going to wedding at town hall and we came from bicester the parking charges are quite high anyway and then to find we have to pay 100 pound on top when we were in oxford for such a short time seems like extortion has anyone else had this problem as it ruined the rest of our day .i dont think we will be parking there again.
