I was charged incorrectly for parking over a weekend (the signage appears to be very clear about the charge which should have been made but the parking machine charged me significantly more). I tried to flag this to the parking team when paying, who told me I had to pay the larger amount then complain by email. LNER's customer service team refused to refund the difference, even though I believe they are not charging in accordance with the rates on their own signage. They did refund another member of my party however. They need to check the clarity of their charges as their signs are very misleading.

First time visit since covid outbreak and found that access to the Central Station is now blocked and was left no option except to continue forward which brings you to this car park. I collected a ticket and drove in then tried to find the exit. The road markings are poor but I eventually found it after a couple of minutes. The barriers raised when I approached them so I assume that the short time that I drove around was not chargeable. Beware of the exit turn as it is a very sharp right turn and my Mondeo would not take it without having to back up and try again !

Don't park in this car park. There were no signs for prices, until I drove up to the barrier to get out after parking out of necessity from 8am to 11am on a Monday. £19.50!!! Unbelievable price. Complete and utter daylight robbery. Doesn't deserve one star or my time writing this.

I have used this car park for over 2o years... its always been difficult to park during business hours... but now much worse... for the expense it should have more generous space in slots... also I am a carer for my 90 y o husband and its difficult to get away, with a sister hospitalised in south 30 mins out of London and taxi another 30.. which is a difficult journey and I dont need this... I have also now been fined as I went the way I always did. a while away approaching in dark early morning..my usual route - I hadn't been for a while - was now a bus lane only..and in the early time everything was dark and the photos on notice of fine were so vague .. I still dont know how to approach it... as usual the company does not care though they make money out of us... would like to have given 0 out of 5 stars

Went to pick up my daughter and struggled to find a space. Eventually managed to get one but it was very tight and I had to be careful not to knock adjacent cars when opening the door. Parking used to be so much easier before they decided to enclose the portico and lose the spaces it offered as well as losing the parking to the east. Now the available parking is simply too small for the size of the station and they are trying to compensate by squeezing in as many spaces they can by making them narrow. Worst station parking I've experienced.

If I could give no stars I would. Agree with other reviews that the bays are very tight and so are the lanes between bays. Barely any room to move. Gave plenty time to park before train was due but struggled to find a parking bay usable which was because of how the drivers of their bright big new cars parked at an angle over the lines so that no one could park next to them. Running out of time managed to squeeze into bay but had to climb across passenger side to get out. If a car is over the line they should get a ticket. I counted at least 4 bays that were unusable.

Went last night to pick my son up at the station found Carpark shutters down and am on a one way road which says taxis only ten deep and 4 across what do I do . My only option was to reverse and try to pull across bus lane to get to car lane . Not good

DO NOT PARK HERE! If I could give 0 stars I would. Parked over a weekend from 6am Saturday-1pm Sunday and was charge £24, we were expecting the weekend prices either, £12 Friday to Monday, or at worst £14 for the Saturday/Sunday rate. When challenging the pricing you’re told just to pay and complain. However, there is nowhere to complain and the station service manager told us to contact parking@LNER (confessed they have have lots of complaints,) again nowhere to complain and get a refund. Shocking customer service and a massive con.

Shocking, do not use. Smallest legal space possible, signage poor, rip off prices, no short stay drop off, barrier would not open on way out so pressed for help. Chap came on but could not remotely open barrier so gave up and hung up. Pressed again and get another fella who opened it straight away. Never again.

Number plate not recognised so barrier wouldn’t rise. Had to pay £16 instead of £12 to get out. No help available. Very poor service

I agree with the comments on the size of the spaces and if someone parks next to you and they’re not square in the space you’re stuffed. Surely there must be a standard for a minimum space. Prices should be charged by the hour and not a flate rate, that’s just greed by the owner/ operator

Very tiny spaces which is a shame tbh, prices are too high for the value delivered. I have missed my trains on numerous occasions just trying to navigate and find my way into the parking space. It’s one thing to find a space, it’s another thing to be able alight from the car without leaving a mark on the car beside which requires tact and great skill. Worst car park I have seen by a mile. Lowly rated!

When people say narrow - they mean REALLY narrow - no room to park and open car doors narrow!!!Like others, parked there as needed slightly more than an hour - but not 24! Extortionate pricing.

My car is very small but a ( presumably ) much bigger car scraped my back door really badly on leaving. Left no note. Didn't actually see the damage until I got home as it was so dark and the distance between my car and next so small.

Absolute disgrace...total rip off!! I was at the station all of half an hour his morning to put my daughter on a train to London..Really tight spaces....and I don't have a huge car!....no tarrif boards on entry anywhere....waved her off ...put my ticket in the slot.....£16?????!! For 24 hours it said......?? Not part thereof but there was nobody round to ask and I needed to get to work. Not to have a short stay longer than 20 minutes but less than 24 hours at peak times is outrageous! Bloody furious!

An absolute disgrace. I took a wrong turning, given the chaos around the central station at the moment. No choice but to go into the car park to get out! Took a ticket and thought OK maybe 50 pence or so....joke surely £7 for 1 minute? No - complete and utter rip off and NO pay ticket returned - I'm urgently seeking filthy rich owner.

This is a nasty car park, and I hope I never need to use it again. The only reason for my visit was that the short stay was full and the council has set a maximum of one hour on the street. There are no tariff boards on the approach or at the entrance, and the conditions are in tiny print unreadable from the car. The identity of the operator isn't clear and even the tickets are blank stock from the equipment supplier. Next time I'll approach from another direction and find a proper car park.
