Paid for three hours. Month later got a debt collection threatening letter. Company said they had sent letters inviting me to pay fine for allegedly going over time but I didn’t receive them. Extortion.
got a debt recovery plus fine £170, I had no letters from gemini parking , I payed for a ticket I had made a mistake on my car reg, now I have to pay or it goes to court.
Terrible. Tried to pay but machine not working despite many attempts. Still received a £100 fine.
Zero rating. How is this allowed to keep happening. Blue badge holder who did all the right things but still got a fine. It’s disgusting, criminal in fact. I’m writing to my MP for backing. There needs to be laws in place as this is robbery and blackmail It punishes the very people that need help not all this stress. I’m appalled

Went to Stanborough lakes recently, took 3 disabled people. Displayed the blue badge and parked in disabled bay. Phoned the number displayed to register the blue badge (actually did this twice) left details on an automated system and have been sent the fine a month after visiting. Absolutely despicable. Should be ashamed of themselves. Zero stars. Won’t come again
I agree with everyone else .Went there for wander round the lake after taking friend for a hosp appointment .I tried to pay with my card ..Refused..My friend tried her card ..refused.But I thought it had taken it and ended up paying 100 pounds as they also refused to believe my appeal .What a disgrace .I pwould rather have given the money to somebody that needed it.Atrocious.
Paid my money using card. Got ticket. Left within 3 hours. Still hot a £100 fine. Or £60 if you pay immediately. Made a claim with proof of payment. Got rejected. Apparently the machine had no record even though the receipt has my car registration on it. No wonder nobody goes there anymore.
Displayed blue badge and called number as instructed (to a voicemail) to receive free parking. Most unnerving, especially as no confirmation was given. Just got a parking fine! Have now begun an appeal process.
Got a parking ticket, but when I appealed to POPLA gemini parking solutions did not respond to my appeal (saying signage was unclear), so I won by default. Definitely worth trying this for other people who get tickets.

Do not ever park here. I got a fine and has now been forwarded on to a debt recovery agency. I park in a disabled bay, showed my badge, sent email with all badge details on …… absolute criminals running this outfit …..
No stars at all. Firstly my card was declined a couple of times, ended up borrowing a friends card. Trying to pay on phone for an extra hour a total nightmare.
If schools need to teach pupils what greed looks like, take them to Stanborough Car Park, and show them who benefits (Gemini), how Gemini traps residents with a PCN and who loses out(Residents). Welwyn Hatfield Council seems helpless, as they are unable to resolve the mess created by this parking company.
Ridiculous system. Parked with a Blue badge, followed the instructions to register the badge and vehicle to park for free. Been sent a parking fine saying that I failed to pay. Now having to appeal with evidence from my call logs to their system.
Absolutely terrible, spent half an hour trying to download the app, gave up and went to the card machine, that didn’t would, kept declining the card. It was the same for people around me as well. I gave up and went home. Had been really looking forward to a day out. Needs sorting, clearly not a new issue.

Visited 5th feb 2022. Machine did not work for 2 people infront of me for ages.I put 3hrs in but when I got ticket it was for 1 hour.Everytime I go there are problems with paying.Needs sorting out please
The card machine does not work. Its card only, no cash, but no facility to enter numbers on card reader and scanner does not work correctly so you cant pay. The council needs to change the company responsible.
Daylight robbery, parked with 97yr old dad, displayed disabled badge - just been slapped with £170.00 fine !(didn't see previous letters) can only think it was because we weren't in designated disabled space - very busy that day so we parked where available. Outrageous rip-off

Total rip off! I've parked there for few min after 8pm. They've send me fine of £100 for not paying for the car park. Didn't say what time I left either which I think is weird. I didn't even check if I should pay at that time. Who would park there and pay so late ? It was almost dark when I went there with my daughter. Even the car park in the town centre does not charge after 6 or 7pm. Why would they????

I would give 0 stars if I could. I’ve received a £60 parking charge! We tried to pay card and it was declined. Doesn’t take cash either! My appeal for my parking fine was rejected too. Beyond livid.
Im fuming got a fine of 60.00 yet i have a blue badge and registered with park. Been ringing all morning so had to sent email. Now waiting to on appeal which takes up to 28 days so will end up paying 100.00. A dirty trick to people that are loyal to a lovely family park.
Parked and paid, got the ticket fine! Luckily I have the ticket still. Reading reviews it's a rip off!
Struggled to pay, after 3 attempts with card thought I was successful but still got a £100 parking fine. Ruined a great memory on my day out with the grandchildren. Please don't get caught out like I did.
This car park is a rip off, we thought we had paid by card at the machine but still got parking fine for £60, same thing happened to my friend in the disabled space, be careful if you choose to go here.
Could not pay by cash, Could not late pay on line, Paid by phone in the end but was charged extra 20p.Service is rubbish.
Will never park there again, they have ruined the park with this ridiculous system. Why can't you just have a pay

Poor car park! Went with the children, for a bank holiday play in the park to have to come home again! The pay machine doesn't accept cash and to pay by card you have to pay a 20p fee for the privilege! You also have the option of 1 hour or 3 hours. I wanted 2 hours and shouldnt be made to pay for 3!Terrible!!
There is lots of free on-street parking around Harpenden town centre. Be careful to look at the signs for the parking bays though - restrictions apply. Time limit is variable, from 30 minutes to 2 hours. No return within 2 hours.
