Disgusting hit with 3 fines in a week. Didn't realise it wasn't pub car park. Second time was just 15 minutes as waiting for my missus to walk from the hospital. Outrageous won't be using them again.

Visited this pub for a meal while visiting Sheffield. Had dined there several years ago and there was no parking charges at that time. There were no obvious signs to say we had to pay to park this time. Very surprised to receive a parking fine today and the accompanying photos of our car demonstrated branches hanging down which obliterated the camera and because it was a rainy evening and quite dusky did not see any notices re parking charges. It is most unusual to have to pay for parking while having a meal and the Bar staff did not mention this nor apparently any signs were on display. Very unfair, will never return.

Will not be visiting again. Slammed with parking fine, even read the parking signs which didn't indicate a charge if using the venue. Turns out for be a very expensive breakfast!

Signs are hidden, dropped in the pub for a quick snack and a pint, no signs in the pub either, turns out to be a very expensive packet of peanuts, shameful

Parked and had breakfast at the Sir Francis Newton pub. Saw no signage informing that you had to pay, wasn’t asked by staff inside if I’d paid and then received a fine of £45 Disgusting. Who pays to use a pub car park that you’re going to eat at. Won’t go there again. Utter scam

Agreed with above. I read parking meter and not obvious there is a charge for guests. Won’t be going again

Same thing happened to me. No signs to say the car park is not part of the pub. Disgusting extortion. Surely this is illegal? Boycott the pub

You’d think it was a Wetherspoons car park but it isn’t. Hidden signs to catch you out & then hit you with a £75 fine.

No signage in the car park or pub explaining the rules, sneaky of them to operate next to a pub and fleece people who just assume that it’s run by Wetherspoons. Absolutely disgraceful
