Short Term Parking
Short term parking, or metered parking, is located on Old San Carlos Blvd., Estero Blvd., Center St., and Fifth St.
Metered spaces have a two-hour time limit and cost $2 per hour. On Fifth St. the spaces are $2 per hour. For your convenience, coin change machines are available on Center St. and next to the Shipwreck Store on Old San Carlos Blvd.
Meters are monitored 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, seven days a week. BASE personnel look for expired time limits, overtime parking, and prohibited parking violations.
Long Term parking is available on all beach access streets and in the lot under the Matanzas Pass Bridge. The cost is $2 per hour, and there is no time limit.
Two of the beach accesses, Palm Ave. and Connecticut, offer Pay-and-Display machines, which allow you to use a credit card rather than change to pay for your parking.

- In a handicapped space without a valid permit
- In a fire lane
- In areas officially marked as prohibited
