I wish I could give 0 stars. I had contract parking here for a year (monthly payments) while I lived downtown Minneapolis. My vehicle was vandalized and the garage did absolutely nothing, not even checked the few cameras in that they have. As this is the least overpriced garage I could not move or switch garages. Not to mention we have 2 vehicles and have gave this garage $300 a month for the past 12 months, you'd think it be better service. Now I'm at the end of my lease and I will not need the garage the last 10 days in the month, I asked to be prorated and they literally said no we can only give you half your money back if you leave on the 15th and anything later they would take the whole $300 even if I'm not still there. Extremely disheartening I will NEVER EVER park here again.

Terrible. Awful. Unprofessional management of a downtown ramp. NOWHERE does it say cash only upon entry. I have a video that walks you through and shows you. Cash machine on the second floor was broken, so I had to pester the attendant to help me find one that worked properly. There is even a sign that says "NO BILLS LARGER THAN $20.00 WILL BE ACCEPTED." ......now.... doesn't that imply that bills smaller than $20 ARE accepted!? hmmmm.... Someone is sleeping on the job here. Highly unprofessional, and a waste of my time!

Parking in Minneapolis

Minneapolis is a global economical hub and one of the largest cities in the area. Here are some useful tips to help you find the best parking location.

In Minneapolis parking meters are abundant. There are around 7000 meters in total;  so parking in Downtown Minneapolis shouldn’t be a major problem. The city is divided into several on-street zones with varying rates and time limits. The maximum stay limit can vary from 2 to 10 hours. The rate for parking at meters can range from $0.25-$2.75/1 hour. Single-space meters accept coins and bills. There are more advanced singles-space meters that also accept credit cards (Mastercard, American Express, Visa).

Multi-space meters accept coins, bills and cards. When parking at one of these meters, introduce the number of the space you’ve parked at and take your receipt with you.

During events on-street rates can range from $1.50 to $4.00/1 hour.

Meters are not enforced during national holidays.

Off-street rates are around $4-$5/1 hour and $18/24 hours. The average monthly parking price is in the range of $150.

You can click on a marker, e.g. the Convention Center (Central Lutheran Ramp) or the Gateway Ramp, and it will show you all the basic information on that location, such as price, opening hours, etc.

For any questions about ticket payment options, make sure to visit the city’s website.
