If you are lured in by the cheap $7 evening rate, just know this: if you pay too early (like 11 minutes before your car is on exit ramp) - you WILL be charged another $7 to open the gate. Total scam.

Terrible customer service. I lost my parking ticket and when asked to pay I agree to the $35 charge even though I had only been ther from 7 - 10pm. Their ticket booth declined 2 of our credit cards so I had to snap thier exit gate to exit. I will never park their again.

Parking In Seattle

Seattle is the birthplace of Nirvana, Bill Gates and Jimi Hendrix. It’s the city that never sleeps and always offers its visitors something interesting to check out. But what about finding a parking spot in Seattle? Here are some useful tips that’ll help you out.

There is plenty of on-street parking in the city. The rates are from $1 to $4 per hour, and are enforced Mon-Sat, 8AM-6PM or, depending on the particular location, 8AM-8PM. The time limit is 2, 4 or 10 hours. Coins and debit/credit cards are accepted.

A pay-by-phone option is available at all on-street locations. It allows you to pay for parking from your cell phone, saving you the necessity of finding a pay station and getting a receipt. Visit the city’s official website to learn more about this feature.

The average rates for off-street parking are $7-11 per hour and $15-30 per 24 hours.

Monthly parking in Downtown Seattle is usually quite expensive, ranging from $200 to $350.

If you’re looking for a specific place, such as the Seattle Aquarium (Pike Place Market Garage), the Seattle Center or Pacific Place, Seattle’s parking map on our website will provide you with information on all these locations and many others.
