I used to parke there after 6 PM or during the weekends, and it was always free after 6 pm. Last night, when I was leaving, there was a lady sitting there who asked me for payment and said it's $10. When I asked how they knew how long I'd been there, she said they scan your license plate when you enter the parking garage. Now that I've checked, I see I've been charged $15. She told me they started charging since June, but I remember the last time I was there on June 29th, it was still free. Does anyone know if this is a scam and if they're taking the money for themselves?

Been going here for a year after 6 free parking.. a month ago they started charging 1 time it was 5.00 .. tonite it was 25.00.. That was more than dinner.. wont be going back... website says 3am - 6p .. rates. Free outside those hours. Pretty pissed off...

Parking in Fort Worth

Parking in Fort Worth is organized around its districts and most visited locations. Parking in the Cultural District costs $3 per hour with a $10 maximum. Parking Downtown is a little more expensive, with maximum rates of $15 per day.  

On-street parking

On-street parking is enforced Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm in the Central Business District, the Medical District and along University Street near TCU. Meters in the Cultural District are in operation 6 am to 10 pm seven days a week. Meters are free on city holidays, while at other times they charge:

  • $1.25 per hour (one- and two-hour meters)
  • $0.75 per hour (four-hour meters)
  • $0.30 per hour (ten-hour meters)
