If I could give this business 0 stars, I definitely would. Very dishonest attendant on Sep 28th, 2022 Advertised priced of $5 to park because it was later in the afternoon. Once I parked paid him and received my ticket, the attendant demands $3 more dollars because I was driving a middle size SUV. My SUV fitted perfectly in one parking space with enough room in both sides for anyone to easily have access to the cars nearby. My issue is that if they want to charge more for cars bigger than a small sedan, they should advertise that along with their big $5 to park sign. Very rude and vulgar attendant. Try staying away if you can.

Parking in Los Angeles

Though it might seem like there would be plenty of lots, garages or on-street parking spaces in Los Angeles, finding an empty spot can be a real challenge. Please take a look at our maps and consider the following tips for LA parking to improve your chances of finding that desired spot!

Prices for metered street parking in Los Angeles vary from $0.50 up to $6.00 per hour depending on the time of day (higher prices are charged during the busiest hours in the afternoon). LADOT has implemented a demand-based pricing program in downtown Los Angeles where street blocks with the highest demand for parking charge higher fees than the blocks with a lower demand for parking (LADOT uses parking sensors to find which blocks are the busiest). You can check the rates and parking availability on the LA Express Park website.

There’s also plenty of off-street parking in LA city. Lots normally charge $2 for 15 mins with a maximum of $40 per 24 hours.

It might be difficult to find parking around the busiest locations in LA. Check our detailed maps if you have trouble finding parking at

As a rule of thumb, always check for signs indicating prohibited or restricted parking. These are marked as colored curbs or parking signs. If you were unlucky enough to get a parking ticket, but think you parked correctly, check back with LADOT for information regarding paying or appealing a parking ticket.
