Lot does not give you a ticket for check in/out like the garages do, and the arm will raise for car to drive out despite not paying, also unlike the garages. Usually this means parking is free, however I just received a parking violation from a debt collector for $52... do not park here.

Fair warning- does NOT check you out when you drive out of this parking lot. Do not park here/ do not use this system. There are no contact numbers/ no apparent recourse other than to contact your bank for the check in time continuing to count up to rack up parking charges despite your vehicle not being in the parking lot any longer. If you really truly can’t find any parking just go home. Not worth giving them your credit card information and dealing with this hassle.

Parking in Colorado Springs

You probably know that Colorado Springs is a popular tourist destination so whether you’re one of the tourists who came to see the Rocky Mountains, or you have been living here for a long time, here are a few guidelines for parking in Colorado Springs.

The majority of the parking lots in Colorado Springs charge a flat rate for parking. The average rate for a stay is between $6-$10. The average monthly rate is $80.00.

The city owns approximately 2,400 on-street parking spaces. The rates and hours of operation are as follows:

  • Monday - Saturday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, $1.00/hour in the downtown core
  • Monday - Saturday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, $0.75/hour in other areas.

On-street meters accept coins and the City's Easy Park card; newer meters also accept Visa and MasterCard.
