Lot has 2 hour parking sign posted however security will have your car towed within a hour, even if they see u they will not ask u to move or tell u their intent to tow after only 1 hour, and so t call the sheriff, they state “the car was impounded, not stolen and nothing will be done now, it’s a civil matter” no one cares if the security company or the tow company violated the tow law (predatory tow)

Parking in Riverside

Riverside is just a 30 minutes drive from the nearest mountains or one hour drive from the beaches of Orange and Los Angeles Counties. All these make Riverside not only a great place to live in, but also a good place to stop by when heading to the beach or the mountains. Here are some parking tips to help you during your visit to Riverside.

There are plenty of parking lots and garages in Riverside, and to top this off, their rates are accessible. Most downtown lots and garages charge $ 1.00 per half hour. Most parking lots will charge around $14.00 per 24hrs. All lots and garages are free for the first 90 minutes, from 5pm to 8 am on weekdays and all day on weekends.

Monthly permits are $40 for parking in lots, $60 for parking in garages and $90 for a reserved permit in lots or garages.

On-street parking rates depend on the area and are either $0.50 or $1.00 per hour. There are no restrictions regarding maximum time of stay. Metered parking is enforced Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. It is free outside of these hours and on holidays.

When there are special events at the Fox Performing Arts Center, an additional $5.00 fee will be applied to the existing parking rates! Another location you might want to check in advance is the Riverside Metrolink Amtrack station.

Parking tickets can be paid or appealed online. Tickets can also be paid by mail or by Credit card using the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) on: (800) 418-4110.
