Mary Street Lot

Park somewhere else!! They gives tickets to unknowing residents that are told they get free three hour daily parking with a resident sticker. They then double the the cost to $40. for violation then up to $80.00 if unpaid after 30 days. The rate is $20. per day supposedly not including overnight charge for parking. They have a system going that you cannot dispute it for the first time not knowing you have to register at the meter which people use to "pay" for parking. This is how they treat residents. Not Donating any money to city or parking there going forward. Shop out of town or elsewhere where parking lots are provided for free. We do pay taxes and quite a bit. Should be free to residents. Why get a resident sticker either?

Mary St."Public" Parking lot" has No attendant, gives Parking Violations tickets to residents for the supposed three hours free. Must still use meter. Disputed they would not provide the arrival time. The parking violation ticket for a "resident" was $40.00 even tho the limit for the day is a $20. charge, and $80 if not paid in 30 days. The lot has always been empty when we passed by this may be why. Park elsewhere.
