Used this for a sun’s game. Pre-paid $60 from 5pm to 11pm. Attendant helped with using QR code to get ticket upon arrival. Was worried about getting back out after game but it took us 5 minutes to exit the garage and the ticket lifted the barrier no problem. If you know the price in advance and want the convenience of being right next to the footprint center then I don’t seem where the bad reviews came from (and I’m someone who my kids tell me I’m a Karen for some of the things I complain about). I just expect to get what I advance paid for in a hassle free way and that’s what happened in this case. Yes the ramp is steep but unless you have a stick shift it’s not a problem.

Worst parking experience ever. Booked parking in advance through the Dbacks website at $55 to see a sign indicating parking cost $40 onsite. Then after the event, waited over an hour downstairs trying to get out. When we reached the front, we were charged ANOTHER $10 because "our parking had expired one hour after the event ended and now you have to pay our garage price." The attendant was incredibly rude and I imagine the reason for the long wait to get out was because everyone was being overcharged and held hostage by this woman until we paid. She told me I could dispute the parking, but there is no information available online to do so. I live in the LA area so paying for parking is common; I can say this is absolutely the worst parking experience I have ever had.

We were trapped for almost an hour waiting to leave after a concert. There are other parking options - you should absolutely NOT choose this location.

Went with family in two different cars. My parents paid with cash. We paid with card. Later to find out the attendant charged them, my parents double. I'm assuming she's stealing money. We got there and left the same time.

Pre-paid for parking, however, there wasn't a Q-code scanner or an attendant at the gates, so had to pay by credit card again to exit the garage.

BEWARE!!! If you enter this parking lot and plan to leave smoothly, you are in for at least an hour of quality time sitting in your car with your loving family going nowhere. But don’t worry, the line will move, just not anytime soon. They have each car going through a "turnstyle" barricade checking parking tickets one car at a time on the way out even though you already paid on the way in! Plus, they tried to get us to pay a second time when the paid parking ticket did not cause the barrier to go up! However, one way to avoid this situation is DO NOT PARK IN THIS PARKING GARAGE WHATSOEVER. it is not worth it. they seriously need to change their system. negative infinity stars

Both exits are very very steep!! As you can imagine, leaving the garage when everyone is getting off work is literally hell. During these times, there is a line of cars waiting to exit, facing uphill and when it’s your turn to drive forward, you have to press on the gas immediately or your car WILL start to roll back and potentially hit whoever is behind you. If you can avoid parking here, please do so. Your safety is more important than convenience.

Extremely steep entrances and exits. No stopping place at the top of exit, just the sidewalk with pedestrians crossing in front of you while they ignore the recorded announcement that cars are approaching. Inside the garage all levels are two way driving but drivers speed and generally drive down the middle, not in their lane. Use extreme caution as everyone thinks they have the right of way inside the garage. Oh, and the parking rate is very high.

Validated parking for one hour and I got charged on the way out anyhow. Help desk came up with every excuse not to help. Avoid them if possible.

Parking in Phoenix

If you live in Phoenix or are coming for a visit, Parkopedia has all your parking needs covered, starting from parking at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport down to every single one of the 25,000 parking spots in Phoenix.

Parking costs for lots and garages in downtown Phoenix range from $5 to $20 per day. Don’t forget to take advantage of early bird rates at certain locations.

On-street meters charge $1.50 per hour in any area of the city. The important things for you to look out for are:

  • Time restrictions: they vary with options of maximum 1hr, 2 hrs or unlimited stay
  • Hours of enforcement: Monday-Sunday (including holidays) from 8am-10pm
  • Special signs prohibiting parking
  • Double check the rates at coin-only parking meters! Starting September 2014, the City has begun lowering the hourly rate to $1.00 for this type of meters.

Parking in downtown Phoenix, Phoenix Convention Center  and US Airways Center are among the most popular parking options in Phoenix; if you find these options crowded, check for other locations a short walk away.

In case you were issued a parking ticket, see the instructions for paying a parking violation in Phoenix.
