Charged small SUV as an oversized car. Argued and lied saying my license plate showed him it was oversized car where I saw him select that option on check in.

Give this location a zero for customer serviceNo courteous for people Parking for 1 minutes at the wrong location for a Dr appt. Could of just turned the car around no instead charge $15 to park when we didn't even park Ridiculous and rude adding more to an already hard day. They think they have power to force you to just give in I will continue to complain and go to the higher manager at this location. The employees argue in front of children with each other just completely disfunctionally facility

Would give zero if I could. I don't have a van or an SUV and they tried to charge me the extra $7 for no reason and kept telling me it was tax. Complete rip off of patients who park there to go to NYU Langone. Go to an honest garage and walk the extra block, I will never park with these crooks again.

Parking in New York

New York is one of the busiest and most densely populated cities in the US. Parking rates in NYC are one of the highest in the country. Here are some ideas on how to survive when looking for a place to park in New York.

Commercial garages in Manhattan charge $12-$18 per hour and can go up as high as $55 per 24 hours (SUVs and oversized vehicles are charged additional fees). It’s a good idea to look for early bird and overnight specials or coupons for discounted parking!

A good alternative is to park in the suburbs and then take public transport to downtown:

On-street parking

On-street parking in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island is $1 per hour, while on-street meters in Manhattan charge from $1.50 to $6 per hour, depending on the area. Meters take quarters and credit cards.

On-street rates in PARK-Smart areas will vary depending on the time of day and demand.

On-street signage can be confusing. Check the NYC parking regulations, so that you don’t get a pricey ticket.
