It can be tricky to find parking in Boston, but not if you use Parkopedia! Below you will find information on parking in the city, including: on-street, public and private parking.
Parking meters are in operation Monday through Saturday, 8am - 8pm. The maximum parking time is 2 hours. The price for metered parking in Boston is $1.25 per hour. City of Boston parking meters are free on Sundays and legal holidays with no time limit being enforced.
The city’s authorities have recognized the growing number of motorcycle and scooter drivers, which is why the Boston Transportation Department has divided six standard car spots in order to create space for 39 scooters or motorcycles. The meter rate is 25 cents per hour, with no time limit; meaning that, scooters and motorcycles are free to park the entire day.

There are many options for parking at Logan International Airport. For pickups there is a free "Cell Phone Lot" where you can wait for up to 30 minutes. Hourly parking options start at $6. Several garages offer secure long-term parking: Plan $25-35 per day.

If youre attracted to Bostons Chinatown due to its great food and nice gift shops,bear in mind that some businesses offer discounted parking! On-street parking is not a good option for this area, as most of the spaces are permit only. Also, some streets are so narrow that you risk having your car scratched by other cars. However, if you are willing to take a short walk, you can park quite cheaply at the MBTA South Station for only $8 per hour!

Boston Theater District
Have you planned on watching a theatre performance tonight? If so, then factor in an additional $15-25 for parking in the area. Many theatres are situated along Tremont and Boylston Street,but there are also some spots in other neighborhoods. Youll save time by going straight to a parking garage, instead of driving around looking for an on-street spot, as these are very limited and hard to find. Lafayette Garage and the Boston Common Garage have $18 evening rates!

Parking at a garage will be much more expensive, but at least there is no problem if you decide to stay longer than 2 hours admiring the bay views.

Boston Harbor Garage is conveniently located right next to the New England Aquarium. It offers discounted parking to New England Aquarium members and Whale Watch visitors ($25 for up to 8hrs), as well as for visitors of the IMAX Theatre ($10 for up to 4 hrs, valid only after 4:30pm). If you dont mind walking a little, parking at the Harbor Garage will also suite you perfectly; especially if you're heading off to the Quincy Market, Boston Harbor Cruises, Financial District, or to the North.

Boston Back Bay
It is widely recognized that Back Bay in Boston is an architectural attraction that leaves an impression on all travellers. Whether you want to spend hours shopping, take lots of awesome pictures of the Victorian houses and tall buildings or relax at the hotel, know that you can leave your car for up to 2 hrs parked at a meter, or set aside an additional $10-25 for parking at a garage.

You've got to be very lucky to find a table in the evening at Neptune Oyster. The delightful seafood, such as their fresh oysters, which can be accompanied by a superb wine create a welcoming atmosphere that makes it hard for visitors not to come back. The only downside to this place is that parking is almost impossible to find.

Boston Convention and Exhibition Center
The Boston Exhibition and Convention Center is a venue of absolutely incredible size: about 516, 000 sq feet! For the comfort of its visitors, it offers valet parking for $25 or you can park at the BCEC South Lot for $15. Aditional parking might be available at the Marine Industrial Garage or at one of the Waterfront lots.

TD Garden is the home arena for the Boston Bruins and the Boston Celtics..and it's also home to approximately 200 events every year! The North Station Garage, located directly underneath the Garden offers a flat rate of $42 on event days. The cheapest place to park in the area is at the Science Museum, it's only $8.50 if you get in after 5pm, though you'll have to walk for about 15 minutes across the bridge to get to the stadium.

Fenway Park has been home to the Boston Red Sox since its opening in 1920! If you're going to a weekday game, it would be better to use public transportation. The traffic is usually congested and parking can range from $10 per hour to flat fees starting at $40 per game. Meters also charge more on game nights - up to $22 after 6pm.

Boston University is situated on two urban campuses: the main campus is along the Charles River and the Medical Campus - in the South End neighborhood. Visitors can park in reserved spaces at one of the 4 garages - Agganis Arena Lot/Garage [A/C-2] for $2 per hour up to $12 max or at Babcock Street Garage, Granby Lot [N] and Kenmore Lot [O] for $2 per 30 mins up to $12 max.

Visitor parking at Boston College is available at garages only at a cost of $3 per hour on weekdays and a flat $5 fee on weekends. However, the Commonwealth Garage can only be accessed after 2pm. Visitors are not allowed to park overnight.

The Northeastern University main campus is located across 73 acres of the Fenway, Roxbury, South End and Back Bay neighborhoods. It offers visitor parking at the Renaissance Park Garage and the Gainsbrough Garage for $11 per hour up to $32 per 24 hours. There is also a flat $22 event rate.
