I agree with all the other commenters. No attendant at the station the 1st time I arrived. Wasted over 1/2 hour figuring out that it wasn't free,that I had to download an app, that I needed my plate number, that I needed a location code, my credit card, etc.
HOWEVER - now that I've been through the drill, pay by phone is reasonable.

Absolutely zero-to-no instructions on how to pay for parking. I parked there a few weeks ago and thought I'd receive an invoice in the mail. Still waiting...

Awful! There are 2 Pay by Phone numbers. The interactive map only shows one. Ground level not the garage. If you forget to pay before you board and try to pay while commuting you are screwed.

I had same experience. Hadn't used that garage for quite a while. Since no tickets upon entry, I assumed ti was free. NO SIGNS informing drivers about how to pay! But isn't this kind of incompetence and contempt for users typical of the T?

Omg. You have to be a fortune-teller to know how to pay for parking. My husband was parking there to get to MBTA train first time in ages and came home saying so strange that parking was free. I had to do some serious digging because there is nothing free nowadays.

not everyone has a smart phone & the instructions are horrible! there must be a better way. whoever came up with this system should be fired.

Worst experience! No longer taking tickets upon entry. Pay by Phone instructions for first time are horrendous! Can't get a perso with a pulse to clarify. Calling the number is all automated. I ended up driving out. No idea what will follow...
