Avoid this garage. Our car was broken into overnight. Several items were stolen and it smelled of cigarette smoke/had ashes on the seats. No worker available or visible security cameras in garage. Additionally, the parking rate was higher than advertised. Stay away!

While parked here during a Bengals game, our car window was smashed in and items stolen from the car. We understand there were at least 4 cars broken into at the same time. They did offer to reimburse the parking fee, which they said would need to be done via email. We inquired about security cameras and were told there are none because they did a major, costly renovation of the garage. We were told that security cameras were something they would be doing in the future. I guess the building renovation didn't consider customer safety.

Parking in Cincinnati

If you’re getting around Cincinnati by car, the good news is that parking there is cheap and abundant. Parking rates generally differ by neighborhood:

  • On-street parking in the Central Business District and Over-the-Rhine is enforced from 9am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 2pm to 9pm Sunday. The first 10 minutes of parking are free.

  • In other neighborhoods meters are enforced from 8am to 6pm Monday through Saturday. Parking is free Sundays and on holidays.

Rates are $2 an hour in the Central Business District, $1 an hour in Over-the-Rhine and 50 cents an hour in other neighborhoods. On-street parking rates differ depending on the location, so check our Cincinnati map and look out for color coded lines. Parking meters accept coins and Credit/Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). By summer many on-street locations will allow payment by mobile.

There are over 170 lots and garages in Cincinnati. The average price for an hour of parking is $4.00 and $13 for 24 hours. Many of them offer long term parking; the average monthly permit price is $120. Don’t be surprised by this but most parking locations will increase their rates (up to $10 or even $30 per stay) on event days (Football or Baseball games, major conventions)!
