Over an hour to get out of the ramp. No one on site for a major downtown event. Piss pour management. Do NOT PARK HERE.

Their staff needs more training. I park overnight all the time. I've had terrible experience when leaving the ramp, they expect me to pay for all day parking. On the website says $4 but for some reason the staff member that answers the call pretends to nothing about it. Then they expect customers to pay the full $25 before they can leave.

Going to buck the trend here. Gateway is a good ramp. A bit outdated, maybe, but who cares. You want a more updated ramp? Park next door at Haaf. Good rates. The ParkIt app or whatever is a great option. I pay $8 M-F. For early bird parking, cant beat it.

I was charged $78 dollars!! Not as advertised. Website/sign said $29 overall. My car's window also broken into. Not a safe place to park on the weekend.

ZERO Stars!! Today it was $26 for one hour. Don't recall seeing any signage about the rates. Who is responsible for this "robbery?" Mr. MAYOR, you need to pay attention and get this fixed.

This is a total rip off. I didn't pay close enough attention since I figured most ramps were comparable. These guys should be ashamed of themselves!!!!

$25 for 1 hour of parking!! Unbelievable. Never again. No wonder there were so many available spots! No receipt given at checkout, so I had no idea how much this cost until I got my credit card bill. This is, as another reviewer said...highway robbery. I’m very disappointed that the city of Minneapolis allows this.

$25 for 2 hours in the crapiest ramp in Minneapolis seems a little excessive.

Would give no stars if I could. Terrible ramp! The gate to get in was not working. I pushed the bottom for a ticket, got the ticket, but the gate never rose. I pressed the button for assistance and the person I talked to was very rude. I had trouble hearing her because of the other cars/ street traffic and I told her that, and she started to yell, but yell in a mean and annoyed way instead of yelling to speak up in a helpful way. It was not very good customer service. She said someone would be out to help me. Almost 10 minutes went by and no one came out to help me. I finally had enough and decided to back up and try the other lane. I hadn’t backed up before in fear of poping and ruining my tires. Very disappointed in parking services. Will not be using this ramp again.

I paid $25 for 1 hr and five minutes. I called customer service and was in disbelief. I can’t even believe that’s legal!

Pure robbery. I parked for 1 hour and 3 minutes and was Charged $25z

Sep 11, 2018

Yes, they charge $25 for two hours (since it is 'all day' if you aren't in by 9). Not well signed or advertised, quite the rip off!!!

Parking in Minneapolis

Minneapolis is a global economical hub and one of the largest cities in the area. Here are some useful tips to help you find the best parking location.

In Minneapolis parking meters are abundant. There are around 7000 meters in total;  so parking in Downtown Minneapolis shouldn’t be a major problem. The city is divided into several on-street zones with varying rates and time limits. The maximum stay limit can vary from 2 to 10 hours. The rate for parking at meters can range from $0.25-$2.75/1 hour. Single-space meters accept coins and bills. There are more advanced singles-space meters that also accept credit cards (Mastercard, American Express, Visa).

Multi-space meters accept coins, bills and cards. When parking at one of these meters, introduce the number of the space you’ve parked at and take your receipt with you.

During events on-street rates can range from $1.50 to $4.00/1 hour.

Meters are not enforced during national holidays.

Off-street rates are around $4-$5/1 hour and $18/24 hours. The average monthly parking price is in the range of $150.

You can click on a marker, e.g. the Convention Center (Central Lutheran Ramp) or the Gateway Ramp, and it will show you all the basic information on that location, such as price, opening hours, etc.

For any questions about ticket payment options, make sure to visit the city’s website.
