I am astounded and totally disappointed and Jackson Hospital who I have my son in the hospital with a gunshot I have my son-in-law on life-support and I’m having to pay $20-$25 a day on parking and I am disabled with a broken foot plus other very bad medical conditions And on disabilityI cannot believe that you people charge to park here that is sick and greedy. All I can say is every other hospital in Miami or any other part of the United States that I’ve ever been in and I’m a nurse do not charge people for parking at the hospitals so I am so disappointed to find out that Jackson does that shame on you

Parking in Miami

Downtown Miami is home to many national and international companies, let alone tourists, so parking can really be an issue.

Parking in Miami can be not only hard to find, but also expensive. The average hourly rate in downtown Miami is $7.00. To park for 24 hours at a lot or garage, you will have to pay between $28.00 and $30.00.

Monthly parking, however, is not too expensive with an average cost of around $110 per month.

On-street parking is managed by Miami Parking Authority. There are over 9,000 on-street spots in Miami whose rates vary between $0.75 to $1.50 per hour. Most of the coin-based meters are already replaced by meters that accept coins, credit and debit cards and, in some locations, dollar bills. You also have an option to pay for parking using the Pay-by-Phone app.

You can also find more detailed parking maps for the following locations: Port of Miami, Sun Life Stadium, Miami International Airport.

All the information regarding paying or appealing a parking ticket can be found by contacting the Parking Violations Bureau.
