Maintenance employee that works during the work day constantly smokes marijuana in his white truck near the parking lot exit. Numerous employees from other buildings have witness this person doing this. In addition, this individual goes around and breaks into peoples vehicles throughout the 1-3 levels of this garage.

Pedestrian entrance is 2 streets over from the car entrance and the stairwell exit. You must take your ticket with you or you are locked out from your car. Could not find any signs for where pedestrian entrance was. Overall a nightmare to navigate. The security staff member I eventually found was amazing though, so patient and helpful. Up until then it was wandering dark streets circling the building.

Parking In Dallas

Dallas is one of the largest cities in the United States with a huge amount of parking spaces. However, that doesn’t mean that finding parking is always easy. Here are some helpful tips on finding a good spot.

Downtown Dallas has plenty of on-street parking meters, which are enforced Mon-Sun, 7AM-6PM, with a maximum stay of 2-4 hours. Meters accept $1.00 and $0.25 coins, as well as cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover). Prices range between $0.50-$2.00/hour.

The city has also implemented the Pay-by-Phone option for on-street parking. You can read more about this feature on the city’s website.

If you prefer parking in a lot or a garage, it wouldn’t hurt to know the prices there as well. 1 hour costs around $4.00, while 24 hours cost approximately $14. The average rate for a monthly permit is close to $70-$80. But take notice that monthly rates vary greatly and there are many locations that can charge up to $120-$130.

Make sure you don’t lose your ticket when parking in a garage or lot. If you’ve parked in a large location, you might want to write down the number of your space so you don’t forget where you left your car.

Parkopedia’s maps provide helpful information on prices, hours and other details in the city’s various locations, such as Dallas Love Field Airport, the Dallas Convention Center or the House of Blues. This will help make your trips more well-planned and organized, as well as save you time and money!
