Parking in Raleigh

There is plenty of parking in Raleigh – over 9,000 off-street spots managed by the city alone. Add to this the commercial lots and garages, as well as 1,200 on-street parking spaces, and you’ll see that finding a parking space in Raleigh is indeed easy, as long as you know where to look for it!

The average hourly parking rate at an off-street lot is $2.50, and $19.00 for 24 hours. Long term parking costs around $90.00 per month.

There are 7 on-street parking zones in downtown Raleigh with maximum time limits raning from 15 minutes to 2 hours. On-street parking is enforced 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday and can be paid using coins, credit or debit cards. Parking in purple zone costs $1.25 per hour and $1.00 per hour in all other zones.
