Never have had a problem here with my extended stays at the Hyatt. The entrance/exit ramps are pretty tight for big trucks, but otherwise it isn't a scary place and my vehicle likes it just fine!

Avoid this parking garage! They say they have security, but my car was vandalized during a 7 hour period of parking my car. I was attending a convention at the Hyatt Regency and parked my car for four days in this garage because I could walk anywhere I needed to go and didn’t need to valet my car. I found out three days after my car was vandalized when I was checking out of the hotel on the last day. Their security had a report of the vandalism but failed to call the police to notify me. They were quick to tell me that they were not responsible for my driver’s side window being busted out. Luckily I did not have anything of value in car for the thief to steal. When I called the police dept, the officer who arrived was just as disappointed with the garage staff and security as I was. Do NOT park in this garage!

I am a monthly parking customer for almost 5 years. So far things are good. They once increased the parking fee.I don't see a reason for this increase, when no facility enhancement is done and when parkers don't get any extra benefit.Once there was some rude people in their office, now i don't see them. Looks like they gone or fired. They have direct access to the downtown tunnel system and connected to Hyatt Regency Hotel.Negatives: - No online payment system. Every month I need to walk to their office for the payment. - On busy times, daily payers take time at the exit with their payment and blocks the traffic behind them. Even sometimes i think the cashier too is slow. Looks like they are not that concerned about the big traffic which sometimes pile up at the exit. Suggestion to Management. - Payment machines should be setup on each floor or at basement/ground floor/3rd floor to make exit payments. Then they will have 5 - 10 mins to leave. If they don't leave, charge their card appropriately. This way the pi

This place is the sorriest excuse of a garage there is out there. It does not help that this whole city is the definition of rude, Tis parking garage is just another example of what is wrong with this city. That is such a shame people are so rude here when there are friendlier communities not too far away. If anybody comments about this to the contrary, they are misinformed.

Parking in Houston

There’s plenty of parking in Houston – around 250 lots and garages and more than 2,000 on-street spaces in downtown alone. The hard part, however, is actually finding an empty parking spot in Houston!

With such a high demand, Houston downtown parking can be expensive. Some garages charge very high rates especially during the evenings or on event days. Downtown rates can go up to $30 for 24 hours.

If you want to pay less for parking, consider leaving your car at a lot on the outer edge of the city and walking or taking the public transport to downtown afterwards (METRORail or METRO bus).

On-street parking is enforced Monday-Saturday from 7am to 6pm, parking is free after 6pm, and all day Sunday. Pay stations enforce time limits ranging from 2 to 10 hours of maximum stay.

Please keep in mind that some metered areas become tow away zones on weekdays between 7am-9am and 4pm-6pm so, remember to read the parking signs carefully.

Anticipating your needs, Parkopedia has information on Parking in downtown Houston, a visitors’ Parking map of University of Houston, a HOBBY Parking page for frequent travelers and much more!
