Agree with above. It is insane the cost of parking in these hospital garages. They have been paid for over and they should be free if you have a family member in the care of the hospital. Not everyone can afford 40 bucks a day or even 5, plus there is already going to be a hardship with the cost of hospital stays, surgery, etc.

was there for my father's procedure, thought we were staying the night but was then told would be going home. No one was at the desk to validate ticket, after leaving at 8pm. $40 for parking is absolutely ridiculous.

My husband was a patient overnight only and I had to pay $45!!!!!! Criminal! Patients shouldn’t have to pay this ridiculous amount!!! Very upset!!

It is really pathetic the amount of money they charge to park. It’s criminal! You are obviously there because someone you love is in crisis. To make you pay $40 to comfort someone you love is absolutely insane!

I was there for 9-10 hrs with a sick husband who was an in patient. I left at around 10pm and the automated machine charged me $40 because apparently I was over 7 hours. MUSC’s parking maximum is $6. I couldn't get out unless I paid it. Extremely angry. That is disgraceful
