George Street Parking

Wish there was a minus star option. Unbelievable how much of a scam it is to park in this lot. Myself my grand daughter and a friend decided to enjoy a beautiful day downtown. It was quickly ruined by the actions of whom ever handles the payments. I believe we were targeted. As we pulled through to park a young man pulled in and parked directly behind us. We got out of the car so we had a better view of the instructional sign. Following the instructions posted multiple times on both our phones we never received a link. After many tries we gave up and decided to leave. Keep in mind we never left the lot. We walked back to the car to find it booted. It had been less than five minutes. The young man was still parked behind us blasting his music. We explained our issue and he could have cared less. I felt he harassed us and made us feel uncomfortable. Please beware. After much discussion I called the company to explain our predicament. They did come through and called the man to remove the boot with no fine.

Cannot get thru on text. No options to pay. Was told via the phone number, go park someplace else. This is the worst experience and service. Charleston Municiple...Be Ashamed...

I wish I could give 0 stars. I paid for parking and when I returned 30 minutes prior to my time limit, my car had been towed. I was left stranded after dark in downtown Charleston which was extremely inconvenient, frustrating, and unsafe. The company is so hard to get a hold of. Pure evil.

Scammers! Paid for 4 hours $24 plus tax. Left sooner due to rain storm. 2 days later they charged my card $90! Can’t get anyone on the phone. No attendant. Claims they have security cameras so the should have seen I left earlier then 3:17 pm. I am disputing this with my bank. Shame on you!

I parked here for the basketball game across the street. attendant helped me to learn the system. and when i returned to my car i got leave instantly without seeing anyone. 10/10 would recommend this lot.

DO NOT PARK HERE! After paying more than $30 to park (by phone with a credit card so they had my credit card info), I was unable to extend the time as I did not know the car’s license number and was going to pay the difference once I got back to the lot. Upon arrival (less than an hour late), they had my car towed plus gave me a parking ticket. All told, it cost me over $300 to get my car. Everything is purposefully confusing and/or ambiguous to take advantage. DO NOT PARK HERE. They are scammers.

The rates have skyrocketed at this lot and there is no reason to use it unless you are desperate. Avoid at all costs.

Needs to be 0 stars!!!! We parked there last night from 5;30-11 and we were charged $41.00. We could have ubered from home and back home for much less :(

I’m a cleaner, and I just paid $47 for 6 hours while I cleaned a condo next door. Robbery!

Paid $14 to park there on Friday 6:30-9:45pm. WHO owns this. Not the city. The rates are Not listed here. Beware BEWARE.

Was there on Thursday night for The Snow Queen performance at Sottile. 6:30-9:45. $14!!???? Beware. I had to tell the attendant to put up the Lot Full sign.

The Parking Attendant cursed me out today. To punish me he made me manually check out using the machine while he sat in the booth. When I said thank you and he could not get a rise out of me he became even more belligerent continuing to curse at me and call me horrible names. Something needs to be done here to protect the public.

The parking attendant had a bad attitude about it and charged us more money than the actual price. It was late at night so we let it go so as we continued to leave he cussed us out and continued doing so after we were turned out. The guy had a very small vocabulary so he should work on expanding his vocabulary. In the mean time he needs Jesus!

you pay dearly for location.$4 for 1/2 hour is outrageous.

This lot has a great location and was one of my favorites as a local to park in. The lot was recently sold and the prices have more than doubled. It is much more costly to park here than a city parking lot. My recommendation is to avoid this lot. Prices are astronomical.

Terrible service I entered parking lot and went to leave 10 minutes later this morning and the attendent left I was locked in the parking lot and missed an appointment because she had to get something to eat Really?
