Same issue - bad cards are being printed out, not validating, and then you are left to pay for the parking garage issue.

Parked in the garage behind Mann Eye for my wife’s lasik surgery. Got my ticket validated from Mann Eye. Went to check out, and the machine was having trouble reading my card. The parking attendant said it was a faulty card. I said I got it validated. She again said that it was a faulty card and that she said she’d have to call it in. I thought that meant that it was all going to be taken care of. She said that will be $6 dollars, even after I said I got it validated. She said that happens with faulty cards, like it was my fault. She said that I still had to pay, which didn’t make any sense. I was highly frustrated and angry at this point, I just paid it and left. It wasn’t the money, it was the point that I did my part, validated my ticket, yet I still had to pay. The attendant wasn’t very helpful or offer any other suggestions to resolve the situation other than paying the fee.
