These people are stealing money. On exit, I swiped my card and it said 8.00 declined. I knew I had money on the first card, but was holding uptake line, so used a different card-they charged BOTH cards. Find somewhere else to park. Its not worth it. Im going to get new cards too because I don't want them with my card info-who knows what else they will do. I too, wish there was a O star I could have given them. Only did 1 because you can't review otherwise. Wanted to let everyone know- DON'T use this garage- they are SCAMMERS!!!

I would love to give it a negative star if I could. I hate these situations where there is no attendant, no one answers a phone (I called and it rang 20 times and went to an automated "please enter pin #"--so you cant leave a voicemail, etc). I parked at 10:50 a.m. until 1:04Pm so barely over 2 hours ,..and I never saw a posting of hourly rate (it may be there--but not at the entramnce I went in that i noticed). I scanned the ticket to get out, I noticed the car on the other exit beside me had to back up and get behind me (not sure why),,,but i had 4 cars behind me now and when i scanned my ticket it said $18,...I ALMOST FLIPPED OUT. I can't back up,...I can't get out unless I pay it. Now no way to contact anyone or get my money back. I'm gonna report to anyone and everyone that will listen though.

Parking in Atlanta

Parking is a constant concern for the fast-growing city of Atlanta. Here’s all you need to know before you go looking for a parking spot in Atlanta.

There are over 2,500 on-street spaces in Atlanta. Most of them charge $2.00 per hour. Single space meters accept quarters, dimes and nickels. New multi-space meters accept coins, bills and cards (Visa, MasterCard). On-street parking can be limited to 30 minutes, 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours. The hours of enforcement vary  based on zones:

  • Business and Government zone: Monday through Saturday, 7 am to 7 pm, 2 hrs max.
  • Mixed use zone: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, 3 hrs max.
  • School and University zone: Monday through Saturday, 7 am to 7 pm, 3 hrs max.
  • Entertainment, Restaurant and Hospital zones: Monday through Saturday, 7 am to 10 pm, 4 hrs max.

Off-street parking is abundant; an hour costs $5.00 on average, and $14.00 for 24 hours.

Parking might be pricier around event locations, such as the Philips Arena and around Centennial Park. If you’re flying into or out of Atlanta, check out our maps for parking at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

If you’ve been issued a parking ticket, you can pay the ticket online or find out how to appeal it.
