My catalytic converter was stolen here about a year ago, and the response was pretty much “ yeah, that happens a lot”. It was reasonably easy to get a refund for the parking fee, but it was not nearly enough to even put a dent in my deductible to replace the 4 catalytic converters and sensors (total approx. $4000 in parts and labor). I asked about cameras to the cashier and she said they didn’t have any…. However I looked forward to see one temporary camera tower that was only in the entrance/exit area. Which tells me they do not care about your property, they only care about profit. To top it off they removed all the reviews and most of the pictures from google maps

Left to freeze in sub-zero weather due to pikes peaks credit card readers malfunctioning. Attendants unhelpful, waited 45 minutes to get my car out of the lot at -17f with 20-30 other vehicles. If your equipment can’t handle the sub-zero cold, you need to just open the gate. Send me a bill or something, don’t hold people hostage.

My catalytic converter was stolen here; cost me 4 grand to fix.

We had our catalytic converter stolen. It ended up costing us $4200. We reported and were directed to call police. No one did anything!!!

Nov 7, 2023

Our catalytic converter was cut out, the security guard basically laughed and said just don’t park here.

My catalytic converter was stolen from this parking lot. They don’t seem to care that this is a rampant issue. Don’t park here.

Oct 3, 2023

Crime is rampant in this lot and DIA make zero effort to improve security. Two nights of parking ultimately cost me $524 and an extra night way from home.

Arrived to the airport Parking a little after 2am. Soon as we arrived to the our vehicle, it was clear that someone broke into an ransack our vehicle, don't know if they were looking for a second key or for the gate ticket. Luckily for the auto theft system, we still had a vehicle when we arrived. We have a missing driver side doorhandle and lock with a few small items stolen. Only question we have, what was the Pikes Peak parking staff doing when this was happening?

Catalytic converter stolen, reported it to the police and they said it happens all the time... Don't park here anywhere at DIA!!

Jul 23, 2023

Do not park here unless you want your catalytic converter stolen. Mine were stolen and tow truck driver who picked me up told me he makes at least 1 - 2 trips there daily to pickup victims, and that it's even happening at the main covered terminal lots now. These lots are owned by the city of Denver and they will do nothing about it. Shuttle employees can't help you at all either.

Catalytic converter stolen last week. No attendant in sight the entire time I was there dealing with it. If only I could’ve read google reviews but it seems that DIA hid them. Great place to go if you’re a thief!

Do not park at DIA right now if you can avoid it. Cars are being stolen daily, catalytic converters are being torched and sawed off right out of the Pikes Peak lot and the main lots at DIA. Our cat converter was stolen out of the Pikes Peak Lot. Parking attendant shrugged when I asked for help. I was stranded, alone, in their lot for over 2 hours trying to get towed and the supposed security people never even saw me. Then when I finally arranged a ride with my mom after our car was vandalized, they charged her for a whole day of parking. The attendant also very causally mentioned that cars are stolen at least once a day. Its not safe, save yourself the stress. To add to it...DIA has now hidden all the reviews on Google (I wrote a very lengthly one that is now non-existent) so they are FULLY aware of what is going on and trying to hide it. DO NOT PARK AT ANY LOT OWNED BY DIA.

My truck was broken into and everything stolen. Company/Denver says it’s not their fault. No regular patrols, cameras aren’t recording as they are just a deterrent. Wouldn’t park here, find somewhere else.

Park dia was full so gave this place a try. NEVER AGAI!!! Waited 20+ minutes while other parking shuttles has came and left infinite times over

Lousy service today! Had to wait 20 minutes for the shuttle and then it took over 15 minutes to get to the drop off at the terminal, as we were dropping off and picking up people at every stop in the parking lot. I only saw 1 other shuttle bus operating. Not what we or anyone else transiting expected!

Fanthun, #539, was our driver for the Pikes Peak shuttle. He did a fabulous job! Very friendly and helpful with the bags. Safe driver, very courteous too. Would ride his shuttle any day!

Sep 13, 2022

I did not wait long for a shuttle both to the airport and to the parking lot. Just have to remember where to pick up the shuttle to go back to the parking lot.

Too long of a wait for the shuttle bus, both coming & going.

Parking at Denver International Airport (DEN)

At Denver International Airport, all parking facilities are open 24 hours every day, and all major credit cards are accepted for payment. Free shuttles from the shuttle parking lots run 24 hours a day and approximately every 10 minutes.

Garage Parking

Two locations - Garage West and Garage East - on both the east and west sides of Jeppesen Terminal. Levels 1 - 4 are covered and Level 5 is uncovered. Overhead roadway signs on Peña Boulevard, and again at the entrances to the garages, indicate whether levels are open or full. Typically the garage has plenty of parking on Mondays, but by Tuesdays or Wednesdays open spaces become fewer and more scattered throughout.

Economy Parking

For the traveler that is looking for parking close to the terminal, yet wants to pay a more economical price. DIA’s economy parking lots - Economy West and Economy East - are located just outside the terminal garages on the terminal’s east and west sides. Economy parking is the closest shuttle lot to the terminal. Free shuttle buses pick up departing passengers at shelters, 24 hours a day, approximately every 10 minutes.

Pikes Peak Shuttle Parking

The least expensive and closest shuttle lot serving DIA - the Pikes Peak Shuttle lot is just $6 a day and located approximately three miles from Jeppesen Terminal. Take the 75th Avenue exit off Peña Boulevard, east of the E-470 overpass.

Free shuttle buses run 24 hours a day, every 10 minutes, picking up departing passengers at the shelters. A row indicator sign at the entrance to Pikes Peak guides you to rows with open spaces to save you time searching for a space.

Shuttles drop off our customers curbside on Level 5 of Jeppesen Terminal, on both the east and west sides. After returning to Denver, go to Level 5 of the Jeppesen Terminal, island 5, outside doors 504/506 on the west and 511/513 on the east, and ride the Pikes Peak Route A or Pikes Peak Route B shuttle back to the lot. Route A serves the northern half of the lot and Route B serves the southern half of the lot. If you are unsure which shuttle to take, ask a driver.

Short Term Parking

Two locations - Short Term West and Short Term East - quick, convenient, located on both the east and west sides of Jeppesen Terminal.

Valet Parking

You can get to Valet Parking - Valet Parking West and Valet Parking East - located on both the east and west sides of the terminal, by following the signs to Arrivals (Level 4). Watch for the Valet Parking signs to your left as you enter the covered arrivals area. For an additional charge, Valet Parking also offers car services including car detailing, oil changes and most major mechanical work. Separate fees apply for auto services.

Mt. Elbert Shuttle Parking

Mt. Elbert opens only when Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot is full. Free shuttle buses pick up departing travelers in the lot shelters. Take the 75th Avenue exit off Peña Boulevard, east of the E-470 overpass, drive past the Pikes Peak Shuttle Lot and follow the signs to Mt. Elbert, or you can exit at Jackson Gap Street off Peña Boulevard (the exit after 75th), turn right and head south and follow signs to Mt. Elbert. The entrances/exits are on the lot’s east side.

When you return from your trip, go to Jeppesen Terminal Level 5, island 5, outside doors 504/506 Terminal West or doors 511/513 Terminal East, and ride the Mt. Elbert shuttle back to the lot.

45-minute waiting area

The 45-minute waiting area is intended for airport customers who are picking up arriving passengers. From this waiting area, it is easy and convenient to pick up an arriving party curbside at a numbered terminal door on Level 4 (Arrivals). The maximum wait time at this facility is 45 minutes.  During peak periods, if this lot becomes full or congested, it may be closed for a short time.
