Agree. Total ripoff. Instructions are impossible to read, since they do not appear as a list. And the "fine print" = hours covered by the rate are also not listed. I thought my Sunday all day ticket for $14 would really be all day, meaning until midnight. NOT. I should have bought an evening ticket, which I did not see as an option. Had to pay a $75 fine. Made an appeal, and they knocked off $20. Thank you so much! But they did not acknowledge how impenetrable the instructions are. For a first time parker downtown on my own, with no one around to help me make sense of the system, this was a disaster. What would a visitor to our city think? Is this what Denver has come to?

Total rip off. Very confusing system. You pay what you think is what you owe (due to the way their system brings up the rate) and then you get a $75 fine anyway. DON'T PARK HERE!!

Don't bother. You pay for parking, and they ticket you anyway. Even with proof, they deny the appeal. They just want money.

Lot is not worth your while. Hard to navigate and park within the lines. Expensive as well.

Parking in Denver

There is plenty of parking in Denver and you should use our Denver parking map to find out where and how how much you’ll be expected to pay for parking in the city.

The average hourly rate at parking lots and garages in Denver is $4.00 per hour and $24.00 per day.

On-street parking tends to be cheaper at $2.00 per hour with a maximum stay of up to 2-4 hrs. Rates and maximum stay restrictions may differ, please check the meter at your final destination.

Smart meters, which are gradually being installed on Denver streets, accept coins, debit and credit cards, and smart cards.

Denver has a special Overnight Parking Program that is different from other US cities. Parking rates are still enforced during nighttime, though they are lower and there are no limits as to the length of stay.

If you’re looking for cheaper or even free parking options and feel OK with not taking your car downtown, leave it at one of the Park and Ride locations in Denver and park for free the first 24 hours and then $2.00 for each additional day.

Did you know that the clamp wheel was first used in Denver?  This is why it is also called “Denver boot”! Follow the parking regulations and pay parking tickets on time so that you don’t get booted!
