Fisherman's Wharf Lot #1

Do not park here. Went for a day trip & wanted to take the kids to the beach. Paid for parking at the machine - it did not give a receipt. Got back to the car before my time was up to find a parking ticket saying "Failure to pay Fee". I went online to dispute the ticket since my bank acct shows I paid for parking. Since the machine did not print a ticket that is all I had to go on. Nearly 30 days later, I received a phone call telling me the first digit of my License plate either didn't go through or wasn't entered. They asked for the last 4 digits of my card that I paid with. She found my payment and told me the best she could do was "reduce" my ticket to $10. She said that they get charged $12 for every citation they issue and they are losing money. I pointed out that they charged me $4+ dollars for me to park and are now charging me $10 even though there is proof that I paid, so they are actually making money. She refused to reverse the citation completely. I also got charged $3.95 to pay online.
