On-street parking is currently being improved in Kansas City. In an attempt to promote the turnover of spaces, the city plans to reduce the maximum stay limit at on-street meters to 2 hours. Other projects include upgrading payment options so that parking meters can accept debit and credit cards along with coins. Currently, drivers can already pay for on-street parking using the Parkmobile app.
