I was 10 minutes late getting back to my car because my daughter was throwing up in a haunted house and I couldn't get the parking app to work so that I could add more time. . That 10 minutes is going to cost me $78. When I called to verify that, the customer service person was really nasty and told me to stop blaming everyone but myself when it was clearly my fault. . I was just trying to get customer service and answers. I called the Philadelphia parking authority and they said that I do not have to pay the citation but I would like to be forth right in trying to handle the situation. . Shavonne at your customer service center Made me feel like a horrible criminal, not like a mom who was holding back her daughter's hair while she was sick. . I would have paid for the extra time if your app worked, and I would have paid the citation if I wasn't mistreated by your 'customer service

This parking lot at Venice island is appalling.. The signs they have posted with the parking rates. Are not the rates that we the consumers are paying, the rates are higher than what they're outdated Signs read. The dishonesty is shameful. I will never park there again. I also find it very interesting that a police patrol car goes through every half hour to hour looking to write tickets... Parker's Beware park at your own risk At the Venice island parking lots and most likely any other Parkway lot...

We were at an event at Venice Island last night. There wasn't anyone there telling cars to pay for parking. We were there for 2 hrs and when we left, every car parked was ticketed. Where was the person writing the tickets when all the cars were arriving? What a sneaky way to make money off the parents at a childrens event. There will be many bad reviews coming your way. Only 1 star because there is nowhere to check (0) stars.

Parking In Philadelphia

Philadelphia is a large, densely populated city, as well as a historical and cultural landmark, attracting large amounts of tourists every year. As such, finding parking in Philadelphia can sometimes be tough. Here you will find several useful tips to help you out.

On-street metered parking costs $2/hour. Philadelphia meters accept coins and SmartCards as payment. The Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) has been installing meter kiosks throughout the city. These kiosks accept coins, bills, credit cards and SmartCards. However, if you’re planning on parking for the whole day, we recommend that you park in a garage, since this would probably be a cheaper option.

Off-street parking rates can range from $10-20/hour and from $20-$50/24 hours, though there are also locations with lower or higher rates.

Our detailed maps help you find parking around some of the most popular parking locations, including:

The Convention Center;

PreFlight Airport Parking;

The Philadelphia Museum of Art.

For airport parking motorists are able to park in a special economy lot for a mere $11 per 24 hours.

Be sure to visit the PPA website for any questions about paying a parking ticket or disputing a violation.
