The most comfortable way of getting around Garland is driving a car and even parking is not a big concern in Garland. If you’re considering driving downtown or taking public transit, know that there are numerous Park and Ride locations around Garland, the closest being Downtown Garland Station, Forest/Jupiter Station, South Garland Transit Center. All of them offer free parking, provided you take public transport afterwards.
