It should read 0 stars. Do not park here! This parking garage is a scam. I pulled in to check the validation rules, but did not see any so i decided not to park there. There was a car behind me so I took a ticket and looped around to the exit in less than 30 seconds to let the attendant know. She says I owe $2.00 for basically taking a ticket. This man came over and brings over a sign that indicates any entry requires the fee. As I was arguing with these scammers, I thought to myself I should call the police, but alas I wanted to remove myself from this awful experience. No integrity, just awful and rude!

and filed a police report. I will also file a complaint to the coorperate office. Do not park there if you don't have to. And If I gave this place a star it's only because it forces you to do it in order to proceed with your review. That man has no right to take our money and on top of that be disrespectful. HE SHOULD GET FIRED.

This place is a total rip off. First of all what business takes cash only. This person (dark short man) in the counter is ripping people off. Who is taking accountability for the money he is taking from us? His timestamp does not read correctly and he makes up his own time. I parked here today to have some ramen upstairs. I parked at 4:53 pm and left the restaurant at 5:54 pm. The restaurant validated parking for 1 hour 15 minutes. When I got to the counter the man stamped my ticket at 6:10 pm. He was charging me $2 for going over??? I did not refuse to pay him but I offered to pay him with a credit card. He tapped the window and said "CASH ONLY" he was very rude and disrespectful so I started to question his timestamp and why he was charging me. He threatened me and called security. They started taking pictures of my vehicle and of me. I was very upset so I decided to call the police. At that moment he lifted the bar and asked me to leave. I went directly to the police department up the street

I was looking for parking around Little Tokyo and ended up at this parking lot. I did not have cash on me so decided to leave the parking garage without parking, however, the person working at the counter COERCED me into paying $2.00 even though I didn't even park there!!! I kept explaining to him that I didn't have any cash so that's why I decided not to park here. He kept repeating himself and said "READ THE SIGNS" and told me I shouldn't have taken a parking ticket. I kept explaining to him and told him that you can check the timestamp, I didn't even park because you can tell from the timestamp I was only there for less than 1 minute. He started calling security on me and they took photos of my license plate and VIN number. Good thing I had coins in the car or else they would have reported me and kept me there even tho I didn't even use their service. DONT PARK HERE. SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES.

Scam and discrimination toward people with eye conditions as well as people who have car break downs in their parking lot.

Parking in Los Angeles

Though it might seem like there would be plenty of lots, garages or on-street parking spaces in Los Angeles, finding an empty spot can be a real challenge. Please take a look at our maps and consider the following tips for LA parking to improve your chances of finding that desired spot!

Prices for metered street parking in Los Angeles vary from $0.50 up to $6.00 per hour depending on the time of day (higher prices are charged during the busiest hours in the afternoon). LADOT has implemented a demand-based pricing program in downtown Los Angeles where street blocks with the highest demand for parking charge higher fees than the blocks with a lower demand for parking (LADOT uses parking sensors to find which blocks are the busiest). You can check the rates and parking availability on the LA Express Park website.

There’s also plenty of off-street parking in LA city. Lots normally charge $2 for 15 mins with a maximum of $40 per 24 hours.

It might be difficult to find parking around the busiest locations in LA. Check our detailed maps if you have trouble finding parking at

As a rule of thumb, always check for signs indicating prohibited or restricted parking. These are marked as colored curbs or parking signs. If you were unlucky enough to get a parking ticket, but think you parked correctly, check back with LADOT for information regarding paying or appealing a parking ticket.
