Don’t waste your time, very poor customer service that will attempt rob you in clear daylight!! They hold your car as random

Parking attendant collected $25.00 parked and must pickup by 3:00 p.m. When I arrived 3:00 p.m. the line was very long customers, we must waited for attendant to bring us the vehicle. They picked me out said you late need to pay extra $10 which customers in front and back of us not right. One customer if said your sign now charge $30.00, why extra $10.00. The parking attendant said if you SWEAR on your children than you can get your car. My 11 years old son spoke and others customers said you can make him SWEAR on his children. Police was called which they said this civil matter. I don’t understand why 911 dispatcher was told what the problem and said they will send officer there which nothing was resolved. BE CAREFUL THIS LOCATION ON 2300 STOCKTON BY FISHERMAN WAFT WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY IN PLAIN DAYLIGHT OR YOU NEED TO SWEAR ON YOUR CHILDREN!!!

We were greeted with very rude attendant. He said "show me the rental ID or leave" when I had proof of my payment through venmo. Also tried to charge us extra $10 since we were an SUV, but I had already paid that through the venmo. Then when we came back we were one of the THREE cars that got broken into. One of the cars that got broken into owner had just graduated Coast Guard Academy. His uniform was stolen which is so very sad and disgusting of someone to do, but even more sad that ALL THREE cars were parked in the view of the attendant. Do not put your money toward this garage because they most definitely do not deserve it at all.

Lies, lies, lies missleading charges, the guy told me he does not care about reviews, really a piece of shit, so sorry for SF to have this kind of people taking advantage of tourist

I agree with all of the above. They gave us the price 10 dollars, and when we went to get the car, he said he needed 20 more or he would give us a ticket. He did not have all day and he had already done the paperwork for the ticket, so up to me. Pay or else ... The police needs to look into this place. These thugs don't give you a receipt. No ticket, no receipt. Just lies, threats and robbery. Bandits. That simple.

The signs say 20 bucks, he tried to charge me 35 for parking past 3. He got mad when I came in and parked in a spot to wait for him because he was not yet there. When I confronted him about the price discrepancy he came at me in a threatening manner asking if I wanted to do anything about the price. When I pointed out the SFPD car across the street he went back to his shack slammed the door and told me to leave. Academy of the Arts really needs to evaluate both this garage and attendant but if its making them money it really doesn't matter to them.

I have been parking at this lot for over a year as I am a resident of SF with no problems. Suddenly, last week, I am greeted gruffly a new man takes my money and offers me no change. Prices have gone up, he says. I am already blocked in by other cars, he rudely says "you want to move your car?" No explanation, no kindness - just greed. I, honestly, felt robbed. It is not the fact that the prices went up, but how I was treated that will have me find another parking lot asap. I have no reason to get up in the morning and give business to a place that acts like this. I would rather pay more and park at a lot that appreciates their customers. I am voting with my dollars, I hope you do too.

considered my Toyota truck OVERSIZE. rude, tried to shove my brand new truck in a very narrow spot. packing the cars like sardines. changes the prices 2-3 times a day. Very shady business. never gives a ticket or a receipt. I like to think I cheated him by parking there all day for $20.

the signs clearly post that that parking is $10 but the attendant demands $15. Fraud fraud fraud!

Parking in North Beach (San Francisco)

As is the case with the rest of San Francisco, parking in North Beach can be a nightmare!

The majority of residential streets in North Beach are 2 hour parking 8am - 9pm (except  Sundays and residents). The 2 hour limit that extends all the way to 9pm combined with the shortage of space on streets makes free parking in North Beach a challenge, especially for non-residents. Be sure to check the parking meter for days and times as some meters do require payment on Sundays.

There are a number of commercial parking garages serving North Beach. Garages along The Embarcadero serve a lot of tourist areas such as Pier 39 and Fishermans Wharf and can be quite expensive, especially without validation.
