2 weeks ago, July 19th . I left my a new company car in your garage for 45 min and it was vandalized on the 3rd floor. Resulting in 8k worth of damage. Keyed from end to and and oil spilled all over the vehicle . I sent out a compliant report and haven’t received a call or follow up. No help, no camera nothing . Please let me know what can be done to help resolve this problem

This place was really full, so I had to wait a couple minutes before finding an open spot that wasn’t super tight. Lady at the desk was friendly, though I still had to pay unfortunate fees after I realized I forgot something after I checked out. I’d park here again because it’s in a good location & prices aren’t as terrible as NY.

Parked at the garage b/c Dawn Zimmer called and warned of flooding. I tried to take advantage of the $5 overnight rate for residents. I was 3 minutes late returning to my car and was charged $28.

Parking in Jersey City

There are many parking lots, garages and on-street parking spots in Jersey City, but finding one can be tough.

On-street parkingsigns in Jersey City can be difficult to interpret. To park on the majority of streets for more than 2 hours you’ll need to have a parking permit. For residents of Jersey City this is very convenient, as permits are cheap ($15 per year) and can be bought at the Jersey City Parking Authority. However, non-residents risk a citation if they park for more than a couple of hours in these zones.

Commercial lots and garages charge an average hourly rate of $8.40 and an average rate of $28.00 for 24 hours. Long-term parking varies from $165 to $225 per month.

Take a look at the parking maps for specific districts in Jersey City to find out even more detailed information.

If you don’t want to try your luck at finding parking downtown, you can park at one of the PATH stations and take public transport into the city. This will not only save you from having to find a parking space, but it will also save you some money, as parking at PATH stations is much cheaper than in downtown.

Parking tickets issued in Jersey City can be paid at NJMCdirect.
