The attendants could be friendlier and more helpful. A smile goes a long way!!! I needed a wheelchair and had to go find one myself and then one wheel was messed up and halfway through our long day I had to go find another one. First guy mumbled "cell phone". Didn't understand he was asking for my cell number!! Could you just say "cell phone number please". Then second guy no help getting a wheelchair at the first bldg. In the circle. Told me might be one inside somewhere"! Took forever to get my car back and the hood was covered in human hand prints ?????? Not impressed with your service. Needs lots of improvement!!!!

Being generous. The Parking Administrator (Title?) was incredible rude and out of line. He previously worked at Duke North and was overly agressive there and now works at the Cancer Center where his whistle blowing (literally) and Drill Sargent tactics are NOT welcome or appreciate. WE as patients should not be yelled at nor the recipient of being yelled at. Duke might be better served with this guy working game days ONLY. Students don’t care as much or even listen to him. Duke…do BETTER with use of another contractor.

Do not leave anything of value in your car ever at this location. 08/01/23 2PM wife had follow up appointment at clinic so left new S&W Airweight revolver in glove box to avoid issues with security screening. Didn't realize it was missing until week later. Apparently one of the valet drivers helped themselves to an $800 tip. Expensive lesson?

Terrible valet system! I was not aware I could not get in line at my clinic and had to circle all the way back. I was late going to my 2nd appointment at another location as it took ONE HOUR for Valet to return my car. Would be nice if Duke take a look at their current SOP in comparison to others such as JHU and Georgetown. I NEVER had an issue at either of these hospitals. Very efficient and outstanding customer service. Employee tips would probably increase as well as employee morale. Unhappy patients makes unhappy employees. Thanks for considering this feedback.

I was at Duke from 11/15-11/22. The staff treated us very well before and after. I had to get something out of my car, and they bought it to me and returned it. On the last day, they bought it to me in about 10 minutes. They helped my husband get in the car and also helped me with the luggage. Nothing was missing and the car was the exact same. I paid $9 a day, but I was ok with the convenience. I will use their services each time I go their. Thanks.

WOW, I was going to use valet today since I paid $8 in regular parking, for $1 more why not, but after reading these reviews, heck if someone is going through my car without issues. Duke is horribly negligent in not addressing these issues. Very disappointed. Their parking garage is messed up, too. What a croc to go through all of this as a patient. SHAME on Duke!!!!!!!

The worst valet service I’ve received. My car was looked through, things were not put back the way I had them. The internal programming of the car was also changed and played with, which had no reason to be touched or changed in order to drive my car to a secure parking spot.

Almost got ran over by valet

Very expensive! $9 no matter if you are there for 30 min. The takes 5 or so min to drop off but the return valet takes 20+ minutes! Easier, cheaper and faster to walk from parking deck.

The employees at the valet are rude and have no idea what they are doing !!!! You should not have to come 2 hours early to be able to get valet !!!!! They need improvement!!!!

An hour to retrieve a vehicle seems like a LONG time to me!

Easy drop off. Quick to get my car back. All around a great experience for my first time using them.

It was ok but the people who are handling the valet service aren’t very friendly and don’t give you clear instructions-A little disorganized-My husband is extremely weak and walking from the parking deck is way too much for him and for me -We are in our early 70s-This is not a valet service for a bar,restaurant ,hotel,or a ball game-Take into consideration a lot of the the people you are serving are sick and frail -They may need extra time and help-Duke is a great hospital- All outside services should be the same and monitored as well-These employees are just young and need extra training-The car was brought back in a timely manner but the employees are not very well mannered to older people -They did an acceptable job service wise-

I had no problem with the attendant. However, when I got my car back the driver had changed the radio station and readjusted the AC. I discovered two(2) days later that my hood was also unlatched. This could have caused a serious accident.

I’ve used valet a lot in the past. Today I had a MRI and dr’s appointment. The process has changed since I last used them. I followed the signs and was going to valet at the clinics. The man put his foot out so I would stop which I was already doing. His actions were unnecessary. He said do you have a ticket very rudely? I said no, where do you get one from? He said there is a man at the bottom of the hill that will give you one. I stated there are no signs to say you need a ticket for valet. He said yes there are 5 signs that tell you which way to go. I said I get that, but there is no sign that says you need a ticket. He said yeah. I then pulled off so mad we went and parked in the parking deck. You all need to have better signs and directions and hire nicer employees.

My last trip dealing with the valet at the Duke Clinics was HORRIBLE!!! My liver transplant was 7 years ago and NEVER have I had such a hard time using the valet!! They have changed the process in the circle and make you sit at the beginning of the circle no matter which clinic you are going to. So, I could see the Clinics, but was not allowed to continue around the circle so I could go ahead and valet AT the clinics. Instead, I was made to wait in line for everyone at all buildings in line ahead of me to get their valet tickets for each building before being allowed to get in the other lane and proceed to the clinic. I could see the the building but was too weak to walk all the way across the circle. This resulted in me being late for my appointment by ~30 minutes and was treated rudely for being late. Maybe you can’t understand if you have never really been sick, but this is this the last thing you feel able to deal with. Oh, and it took at least 45 minutes to get the car back afterwards.

I agree with the previous unfavorable reviews. I used the service 3 times over the last month and each time it got worse. Yesterday it took over an hour to retrieve my car. I made two trips to the valet booth to inquire. I was told by the first individual it was on the way 30 minutes later I was told that the ticket was closed out by mistake. Totally unacceptable. Will never use them again!!!!!!!

Very rude staff! I was going to overlook this when I checked in at 7:45 am this morning until I picked up my car and they had left fast food cup and wrappers in my car. Was my car driven to get lunch or was it just eaten in my car? Picked up at 11:20am from South Valet. Unbelievably unprofessional and I will not be using this “service” again.

Service is terrible. I had to wait for 30 minutes to retrieve my car while people were sitting around. $9.00 is a rip off...i waited longer to drop my car and pick it up than I did in the appointment.

The attendant took my keys upon my arrival and handed me a ticket. 40 minutes later when I come to retrieve my car it is where I left it, unlocked, and engine running! They never moved my car and charged me $9! The young lady had the nerve to tell me at least I was able to skip the line!
