The older curly haired parking attendant lady is OUT of control. I politely asked her to give me a moment to let me figure out Apple Pay because I didn’t have any cash left on me after Daiso..The ticket lady iseems becomes impatient when I asked her to please hold on and despite her watching as I frantically try to set up Apple Pay on my phone she steps out of her little kiosk all aggressively and started taking photos of me and my car and tells me that she will post them all over the Galleria. When she returned I asked her to please cal the actual security to come so I can resolve the miscommunication, she starts calling me the ‘B’ word, insulting me saying “look at your clothes, look at your face, you are a b***h” and and at this point i am just baffled and waiting for Ashton Kutcher to come out of a bush or something because this old lady really went from 0 to 100 in an ordeal that was less than 10 minutes long in total.

A brown Latina woman with curly hair accused me of stealing and I took photos of the dasio employee giving me my parking pass I had forgotten either way I was going to just pay the $20. She proceeded to try and physically assault me while holding my four year old daughter. Next time I will be filing a police report

Awful attendants clearly dislike working there and project their misery onto customers. Even after trying to be nice, was given attitude.

Parking in Los Angeles

Though it might seem like there would be plenty of lots, garages or on-street parking spaces in Los Angeles, finding an empty spot can be a real challenge. Please take a look at our maps and consider the following tips for LA parking to improve your chances of finding that desired spot!

Prices for metered street parking in Los Angeles vary from $0.50 up to $6.00 per hour depending on the time of day (higher prices are charged during the busiest hours in the afternoon). LADOT has implemented a demand-based pricing program in downtown Los Angeles where street blocks with the highest demand for parking charge higher fees than the blocks with a lower demand for parking (LADOT uses parking sensors to find which blocks are the busiest). You can check the rates and parking availability on the LA Express Park website.

There’s also plenty of off-street parking in LA city. Lots normally charge $2 for 15 mins with a maximum of $40 per 24 hours.

It might be difficult to find parking around the busiest locations in LA. Check our detailed maps if you have trouble finding parking at

As a rule of thumb, always check for signs indicating prohibited or restricted parking. These are marked as colored curbs or parking signs. If you were unlucky enough to get a parking ticket, but think you parked correctly, check back with LADOT for information regarding paying or appealing a parking ticket.
