The parking fee signage is only on one wall, so if you park in the other 2/3 of the parking lot, you will not see it. It's a "pay by scanning this code with your phone" kind of place apparently. When you don't see it, you assume it's like most other parking lots... You pay when you leave. But when you get back to your vehicle, there's a boot on it, with a sticker that says to pay $140 to have it removed. This lot is in a great location, and I'd use it again if I didn't feel like they scammed me. Instead I'll walk a few blocks from a different lot in the future. Terrible business practice.

No option for zero stars. Me and my friends were on our motorcycles, 4 motorcycles total. We pulled into lot found black plastic over pay station. We were able to find parking for our 4 bikes, we occupied 2 parking spots. We were gone from our bike for maybe 45 minutes. When we got to our bikes we had large sticker on windshields all 4 bikes and a boot on all 4 as well. The attendant was close by as he commented he was watching us. He explained that it would cost us $140 each to have boots removed. We all feel it was a scam as we were unable to pay, Not even approached by attendant before leaving our motorcycles, he watched instead. We all feel taken advantage of in this situation. It’s not like we occupied 4 spots. We feel half of our money should be returned. All of us have and will be filing complaints with Admiral Enforcement regarding this, Totally unethical.

I feel very safe parking here, it's a gated parking lot and right by where I need to go at. Close to Cafe Du Monde and Jax Brewery. The price isn't expensive but it could be cheaper. But because of the safety and convenience it's worth it!

Very frustrated with this parking venue. The gates to go out would not work. We had to sit and wait for probably fifteen minutes to leave, while others who got in line after us were able to leave before we were. We ended up being charged for three hours of parking, even though we only actually parked in the lot for two hours, because of the time we spent waiting for them to get the exit fixed. When we brought that to their attention they said to my husband "Sir, we can't help what happens." Very rude staff...never got a real apology and still had to pay for a full three hours. Will not be parking there again.

What a find! Right behind Cafe Du Monde & you have all of Jackson Square, shops, horse drawn carriages, etc right there. Getting into the lot means going down Decatur. Depending on day & time of day, that traffic may test your patience. So the earlier the better. Getting out of lot is easy! The exit is on opposite end of lot & at that point you're past the French Market. I-10E is just a little further down the road. I saw a security guard at the main vehicle entrance but there's pedestrian walkway entrances at different parts of the lot. Keep valuables, bags, &/or packages out of sight. People are milling around going to their cars, to, towards Jackson Square or waterfront.

Great lot tucked away in a prime local. They do accept credit cards.

Parking in New Orleans

Roughly two categories of people can face parking problems in New Orleans – tourists who are new to the city and residents who have trouble interpreting confusing parking signs. Our New Orleans parking page is meant to answer all your parking questions, whether its about lots, garages or on-street parking.

Parking is anything but cheap in New Orleans. Hourly rates are between $5 and $12, with an average 24 hour rate of $21.00. You can save a bit by parking before 9 am (early bird rate) however you won’t be able to leave earlier than the preset hour (usually about 3 pm). Also, you cannot stay longer than 6 pm. Monthly rates are around $145.00.

On street parking is enforced from Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm. Short term meters allow 2 hours of maximum stay for $1.50 per hour. Long-term meters allow a maximum stay of up to 10 hours for $1.00 each hour. Be careful to check for prohibited parking in designated rush hour zones from 7 am - 9 am and 4 pm - 6 pm.

On-street parking can be paid by coins, credit and debit cards and using the Parkmobile app.

Parking rates and parking availability in New Orleans greatly depend on the neighborhood; you can check out the following maps for reference.
