Do not park here they held my car hostage as they tried to act tough and intimidate me into paying more when I pre-paid. I guess when you’re a nobody attendant you need to beg people for money. They kept blaming the app I used to book saying they take too much money from them. Which isn’t my problem I pre-paid and that’s that. And according to my car camera inside the car the attendant went through my stuff. Luckily my glove box locks so these loser scammers got nothing.

STAY AWAY! Chose another place, don’t even think twice! Inefficient and rude management. I arrived before 10am for my early bird special, however there was a big line of cars, it took me over half an hour to get inside the parking. The attendant told me that even though it was past 10 AM, my ticket would be OK. However, when I was ready to pick my car, I was told I had to pay additional $18 for checking in after 10 AM. The worker was very rude and did not listen to what I had to say and did not honor the other attendant’s word, was yelling at me and said I would not be able to retrieve my car if I didn’t pay. They are extremely inefficient, very rude and can not expect customer to wait over half hour and then pay extra because of their own incompetence.

Parking in New York

New York is one of the busiest and most densely populated cities in the US. Parking rates in NYC are one of the highest in the country. Here are some ideas on how to survive when looking for a place to park in New York.

Commercial garages in Manhattan charge $12-$18 per hour and can go up as high as $55 per 24 hours (SUVs and oversized vehicles are charged additional fees). It’s a good idea to look for early bird and overnight specials or coupons for discounted parking!

A good alternative is to park in the suburbs and then take public transport to downtown:

On-street parking

On-street parking in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island is $1 per hour, while on-street meters in Manhattan charge from $1.50 to $6 per hour, depending on the area. Meters take quarters and credit cards.

On-street rates in PARK-Smart areas will vary depending on the time of day and demand.

On-street signage can be confusing. Check the NYC parking regulations, so that you don’t get a pricey ticket.
